Those meat and cheese packs are a way to have shelf stable meat and cheese on your pantry shelves ( buy them on sale after Christmas). They don't last forever but are good for some time past the BBD. Walmart also has mini bottles of hot sauces for $1 each. Make your own sampler pack! I found them near the end of some of the frozen fruits (used to be the bead aisle), but others have found them near the deli in their stores. I have not tried them because I don't do "hot" LOL but others have said they are good.
When i first got married after Christmas i went shopping an bought the big rolls of wrapping paper 10 cents each i bought 300 crazy girl 32 years later i am still using it lol
Thank you Danno and Jess for sharing your trip to Christmas shopping at Walmart. Took my oldest grandson to both of our local stores and even though we have tons of decorations he “needed “ more. Lit up my house like the Grizwald’s. He’s happy. Love Christmas. Blessings to you All ❤️🙏🕊️
I kept seeing the grinches behind the shelves and I was wondering is he going to walk over and look at the Grinch. I was like Danno walk over to look at the Grinch's. I love the Grinch that stole Christmas. I love all the Grinch stuff. That was a lot of good deals you found. I went online to look some of those deals up and they actually had them for shipping. Thanks Danno for helping me Christmas shop❤
Good morning. I have a few different Tramontina items and like them. I have the Tramontina Stainless cookware, it's the best. This set looks like it's nonstick, not sure how that would be. Costco and Sam's sell this brand as well. I seen a few ornaments that I'd like to get. Hope you were able to get some Christmas shopping done while you were there.
Love the video! I haven't been to check out all the holiday things in person yet. Only shopping I've done is some online and pick up for Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales. Found some good deals on things we need. ❤🎄☃️
Burr 43 degrees here in Buford Ga but the wind chill is 38. Love the wrapping paper Danno my cats would tare up a tree and no on the candles lol.I loved the game operation when I was young I have a special pan for all the different foods I cook it's awesome to have everything you need for a happy home .
It's a hard freeze tonight here in Gainesville FL! Wind chill of 56 in The Keys this morning lol. We have wind chills in 20's some places, I swear, we may have snow ❄️ this year, winter is too early.
good morning Danno!!!!!! I have not been in Walmart in a long time. BTW, it is really cold here in central Florida. My power went out on Saturday night and was out all day Sunday. I spent the day under a pile of blankets I am still thawing out and trying to warm up lol
We are decorated and the tree is ready. It's hard getting into the spirit of it when it's still 82*f out. Apparently arizona (in the valley) is gonna miss winter again. Atleast my garden is finally growing!!
Thank you. I was just at Walmart this am trying to get a few things. I will have to go back tomorrow and see if I can find the Cinderella carriage ornament for my Disney tree!
Hey Danno!!! Can you see if you can find Matchbox "strike anywhere" matches. Not the ones you strike on the box but the strike anywhere ones. Thank you!!!!!
I second that about snowbirds. The Costco in Surprise, Arizona especially this time of year is more busy on a Monday morning that a Saturday. Not to mention more cars and golf cars in the road, snowbirds are notorious for blowing through stop signs and red lights. I was rear ended in the In N Out drive through, when I got out and looked, the snowbird, did not even realize her car rolled into mine.
@maryhirsch2909 Accidents can happen anywhere, but if anyone has been to an In N Out , it is so popular the drive thru crawls so that just made it even more surprising. I have talked to my mom who is a boomer, she shared that her and my dad parents went thru depression, they threw away and wasted nothing. And in fairness, trust me, I see people in the stores younger than me hording, panic buying.
I could have sworn everyone was stressing over not being able to buy a turkey last week but now they're out wasting money on junk made in China. Needs vs. wants. As if people don't have a warehouse of Christmas decorations in the attic already. In less than two weeks, people will be crying because they have no money for Christmas. They won't be getting an adulting sticker. We all know this is the time of year businesses lay off the most employees. For many this year they may want to think shopping at the free charity closets or make it by hand with what you already have. 1) Since so many are working from home, those who sew could make mug rugs from bits of scrap and trims. 2) Pass down outgrown or don't wear clothing. 3) Bake from the heart with ingredients already in the pantry. 4) Email family all the old family pictures so they aren't lost. Let the recipients get them turned into real photographs for hold in your hands albums. 5) Pass down family recipes and any stories. No sense keeping Aunt Gertie's jello salad a secret. 6) Might be a good idea to pass along money saving and shtf tips. 7) Oooh la la, your sister-in-law likes scented candles or soaps. Melt down some old candles you have, add cinnamon sticks, cloves, bay leaves or whatever from your spices or add some marbles or leaves and sticks from the yard. Or melt whatever soap from the bathroom cabinet and add some scents you have or coffee grounds for exfoliating her elbows. Soap molds can be muffin tins, sand or cookie cutters, etc. No need to buy a kit. 8) Go around to all the tourist centers in your county and surrounding counties to pick up every brochure they have that contains even the simplest of maps. Enough "sets" to keep in every car. They store neatly in shoe boxes - decorate the box. They will need paper hand held maps if/when shtf. 9) Give of yourself. Help an elderly friend replace lightbulbs, dust the ceiling fans, reach high places, replace the shower sprayer, wash and rehang drapery and the shower curtain so they don't risk a fall. Help clean out a friend's garage so they can get the car into some protection. Get in one last mowing to mulch a neighbor's leaves (hey, they won't be blowing into your yard). Cook up some freezer meals with what they already have in the pantry, etc. Or teach them to cook and at least water bath foods and how to stretch foods and not let it rot. Some people can be hungry and clueless how to cook when they have a whole chicken in the freezer. 9) The above is all FREE or using what you already have, but if you have $20, buy a 1.5 liter of vodka and a dozen vanilla beans and make homemade vanilla extract. HEB, our grocery store, has a teeny 1oz bottle of McCormick's for $5. No way! You just made 51 oz for a mere fraction ($20 vs $255!). Recycle some little glass condiment (8 oz Asian condiments work) bottles and there's stocking stuffers for all the neighbors. Put a note on that it takes several months to a year to get infused so they'll be baking with it next year's holidays.

@@owlout1 So true. My neighbors cool older truck was smashed by a person not watching.

In the snowbirds area Surprise/ Sun City West, golf cars are street legal.

I like the Price of $79.00 Better than $98.00 on the Scooter 🛴.
