    I have been working with epoxy resin for about two years now. And just recently I started to incorporate wire wrapping to take my art to the next level. As a beginner, i have found your tutorials very helpful, and look forward to improving my craft. Thank you!

    This was so straight forward and simple. However, I wrestled forever trying to keep the stone from slipping out! Slippery little bugger. I won though and the pendant looks cool☺️

    I'm just getting into wire wrapping. I appreciate all your tutorials, especially the easy beginners, lol. Thank you for showing the gauges of wire. Do you have a tutorial for a wire wrap dowsing pendulum? Many blessings to you! ❤❤❤

    Another simple masterpiece! Live all your vids but the simple showing more stone wraps are all I do. Already wrapped 3. Cabs in this style. What's the other one that only works on tear drop shapes? Link me that one when you have time. Thanks so much for sharing your techniques with us, they help me supplement my income!

    Thanks for all of your excellent videos. They are the best, and I order the wire that you use.
    I couldn’t order that wire from this video because it’s only sold wholesale from Rio Grande. Is there a brand name on that wire? It looks a bit easier to work with than the Artistic Wire that I purchased. I still like the Artistic, and it seems to do well!! Maybe I should try Zebra Wire. Love your videos! They are the superb! Thank you!!!

      Rio Grande does sell to everyone, I think you just have to create an account. However they do sell in big spools so if you are not sure you want to commit to wire wrapping it would make sense to buy just a small amount first. There are re-sellers on places like Etsy and Ebay that buy in bulk and re-sell in small amounts. You just need to search for the wire type you are after and don't forget to make sure it says dead soft (that's the wire soft enough to bend with hands)

    ❤Awesome design and perhaps something I could try. Could 18g be used or is it too soft? I’m a very beginner.

    Very interesting! As a complete beginner, is there ever a chance that the ends of the wire might scratch the stone whilst making?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  11 месяцев назад

      Most stones are hard enough where if the ends of the wire accidentally brush the stone there would be no problems, but if you were working with very soft stones like selenite for example, you would need to take extra care as they can be scratch even with a finger nail.

    As I said in my prior comment...this looked to be the perfect wrap for an oval stone I have that measures just over an inch in length. Unfortunately, my attempts to recreate your design has left me with two unusable messes of wire. Could you recommend an easier wrap with round wire for an oval cabochon please?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  Год назад

      You could try this one, although I'd go up to 18 gauge round for stability: ruclips.net/video/HPdX41A-lrc/видео.html
      Alternatively there is this one as well but you will need some thin wire for it also: ruclips.net/video/x1QM3iQAiQg/видео.html
      and lastly here is one where I use square wire in the video but you can use round wire instead, and you will need a thin connecting wire for this one also: ruclips.net/video/7SZd-ipNWb8/видео.html

      @@OxanaCrafts thank you…I’m going to check it out…and I also ordered some square & half-round wires in a few different gauges…18 & 21; 24 & 26

    I found a beautiful yooperlite that I'd love to turn into a pendant for my girlfriend.
    But I can not for my life get it to stay within the wire.
    I swear I'm so close to either drilling a hole into it or just using some glue.
    It's infuriating 😅

    Do you harden your wire before wrapping? Thx

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  8 месяцев назад

      No I use dead soft wire. They sell half hard, but I find it too difficult to work with as it is hard to bend with hands.
