One year ago, I was watching this video on my 40k Windows laptop. It was sometimes depressing, yet sometimes exciting for me, because as a CSE student, it had always been my dream to buy a MacBook. Now, one year later, I've bought the MacBook with my own hard-earned money. And the most amazing thing is, Hitesh sir, you helped me a lot in fulfilling my dream.

Note: Specifically for M2 devices, avoid the 256 gb variant as it is half the speed of even the M1 machines. Choose 512 or more for M2 devices. This can be helpful for longterm use as faster SSD can alleviate limited RAM swap usage after a few years.

Hello, is 16/512 m2 air good for flutter? Any issues of laptop heating? Should I go for 16/512 m2 pro? I love new design of air but pro has a fan for cooling. I want something for the long term and for my primary freelance requirements. Both have almost the same price.

Hey Adnan, hope you’re doing well. Please do not buy the 8gb/256gb model in M2 Air as it has just one Nand chip which is even slower than the 8gb/256gb M1 air. Basically the read/write speed is much slower which will eventually drain your ram. Go with the 8gb/512gb it’s sufficient to do small to medium projects, can even handle the bigger tasks but just needs a bit more time than the pro models. Happy coding 🎉
I couldn't figure out the changing/shortening my access using Vim. Watched a couple of times, but did not work for me. Can I change it later or will it affect every file I save?

I am using m2 16gb 256gb it works really good
not sure what coding I'll ever do that would need > 1600Mbytes/s write of the "slower" nvme speed.
