It hurts more when you realize she's probably feeling it stronger than she let's on because Donna was the first one to actually care enough to try to help
Lynda, just remember this; there is no one like you on the planet. No one. Only you have had your experiences, your thoughts, and your feelings. You are an incredibly important and unique person in this world, and the world is a better place because you're in it. Big hugs 😊❤😊
@lyndatuttle You're unique. In the whole history of the world, there's never been anybody just like you. And they'll never be another, even if the world lasts for a hundred million centuries. ❤
Donna Sue put things in perspective for Brenda without ridicule her, I think that's why Brenda pays attention and take into consideration Donna Sue's words. I aspire to be a Donna Sue ❤.
Donna Sue is the rock we all need at the work place. I'm going to be taking a few days off for my cousins wedding. I haven't taken a break in a few years.
"You are also irreplaceable to your family and to your friends"... and to Ned 👀 Thank you, Donna Sue. I think we all need to hear that every now and again ❤
Brenda's facial expressions...they just get to me...she is always so wide-eyed and never blinking...its almost as if she dares never to break her professional image
I love these two characters. Completely opposite ends of the spectrum but Doona Sue's mothering instincts have almost cracked Brenda's armour=plated shell. As a wise old-lady I used to work with once said "she needs her fancy man to give her a good seeing to!".
Brenda needs support, reassurance that she's valued. Doing great at work is important, but she needs to accept that her personal needs are important, too. Which may eventually include a sexual relationship, but should start with hobbies, friends, and rest.
So helpful to have a reminder to break out of routine sometimes, as challenging as that can be (for some people more than others). I identify a lot with Brenda and love Donna Sue. Brenda is still giving autistic vibes and I'm here for it!
Those people who believe they are " too important" or "irreplaceable" are neither. They're usually a hindrance and usually end up being replaced by quite easily.
That short piece is just so brilliant. I know of quite a lot of folks that live to work rather than work to live, not least of which is my youngest son who cannot find enough work hours in the day (and night). I'm on his case to NOT do company work at all at weekends but fortunately he has 2 young daughters and a wife that make reasonable demands on his time which mostly occupies his weekends.
I wish I had someone like you earlier in my career. Once management sees how much you do, they only want more, but never look at how long it takes to accomplish.
May God bless all 🌻some after few punches but ya May God bless them all, May we all get 2nd chances have the empathy, strength and wisdom to uplift each other and become best version of ourselves ✨🤗💛 Love you Donna sue..
My ex was a dept head. He started to feel punky one evening after dinner and was stressing about missing a big something at work the next day. His self-importance got wobbly and he said there was nobody else to do what he did and if he didn't show up it wouldn't get done. With as much love as I could muster, I said, "And God forbid you die during the night, who would do your job then?" He didn't pull that one ever again.
Over the weekend my company had a big gathering since we’re all mostly remote, and I looked at a lot of the higher ups in the company and it made me think about how much time they devote to their jobs. And while I know several of them have healthy work-life balances, I know that statistically they can’t all. And it makes me concerned about what would be expected of me should I ascend that high.
I work in big corporation. Last time, when I was ill, I went on a sick leave (in my country we can take as many sick days, as we need, if we have a notice from doctor, and we call it sick leave) for a week. When I came back, one of our main accountants said that one week I'm absent and they can't work. Is that true? Yes. Is it my fault? No. Do I care? Absolutely no. When I'm sick, I'm sick. When I'm on vacation, I'm on vacation. My boss called me only once when I was on vacation. He never dared to do this again. Sad thing is that there is too many people like Brenda and too little like Donnda Sue.
I would love to see Donna Sue get Brenda to grow to the point of not being a corporate slave and understanding work-life balance. And then have Brenda shock the team when the demand for that balance comes from Brenda to management. That would be quite the character growth!
I once made the comment about how important I was to the company I worked for. What I said was, "Fill a glass, then dip your finger in there. Remove it. That hole that you made is how important you are as a person to the company." In other words, you can be replaced quickly once you're removed from the company.
You do get the feeling that if she really wanted to Donna Sue could run that company - but of course she has too much common sense for that ! Marvellous character.
I have to admit I stopped scrolling way back when I first saw your video because I saw an attractive young lady, But you have the very best employee/employer messaging on the web. I've met every one of your characters in my meny work places, and they're all the same. Keep doing what you're doing. You're great! All Union reps should be using your videos in their trading sessions.
"I don't want to think about that.". A flash of the humanity buried deep inside her!
It hurts more when you realize she's probably feeling it stronger than she let's on because Donna was the first one to actually care enough to try to help
Today has been a rotten day to me. Seeing Donna Sue helped a little. I wish I had a friend like that in real life.
@lyndatuttle {{{BIG HUGS}}}
Lynda, just remember this; there is no one like you on the planet. No one. Only you have had your experiences, your thoughts, and your feelings. You are an incredibly important and unique person in this world, and the world is a better place because you're in it. Big hugs 😊❤😊
I hope that today eases off, and that when you sleep tonight, your dreams heal today's stresses.
❤
@lyndatuttle You're unique. In the whole history of the world, there's never been anybody just like you. And they'll never be another, even if the world lasts for a hundred million centuries. ❤
Right? Where are these friends I'm irreplaceable to?
I absolutely love this dynamic between Brenda seemingly growing in her beautiful Mentor Donna Sue's gentle and capable care.
When Brenda started to internally panic from the idea that something could possibly happen to Donna Sue. I felt that.
Donna Sue put things in perspective for Brenda without ridicule her, I think that's why Brenda pays attention and take into consideration Donna Sue's words. I aspire to be a Donna Sue ❤.
"Toodaloo, Honeydew" is such a Donna Sue thing to say.
I like how Donna Sue took "Toodaloo" and made it her own; using it in her own way.
The world needs more Donna Sue's
Donna Sue is the rock we all need at the work place. I'm going to be taking a few days off for my cousins wedding. I haven't taken a break in a few years.
To have a friend such as her would be life changing. She's got your back.
"You are also irreplaceable to your family and to your friends"... and to Ned 👀
Thank you, Donna Sue. I think we all need to hear that every now and again ❤
Donna Sue will be so thrilled when Brenda tells her she and Ned start dating again. Their children will call her Granny.
That was such a beautiful, vulnerable "thank you" from Brenda. This character development is awesome!
And if you do become too important, you can say goodbye to any promotions.
I think Donna Sue pointed that out in an earlier video even
"Don't become too indispensable in a job you don't want"
Preach, Donna Sue!
"Heck if I turned to ashes next week they would have my job posted before the choir starts singing at my funeral." Toodaloo Donna Sue. 💜
Brenda has gotten so tied up with her work, she's forgotten who she is without it.
I blame her mother
She actually isn't anyone without it. That's the problem.
@@lisaboban a lost soul trapped in a golden hamsterwheel
Brenda was about to cry and you can't convince me otherwise.
I also love that she was.
I really hope that the ice will melt some day. Donna Sue is a ray of sunshine.
Brenda literally sounds about to cry on that last line, my heart can't take it-
Great acting!
Brenda's facial expressions...they just get to me...she is always so wide-eyed and never blinking...its almost as if she dares never to break her professional image
Just been gushing to my mum about how much I love Donna Sue. This brightened an exhausting and depressing week. Sending all the love from the UK =)
Protect Donna Sue at all costs.
I adore Donne Sue!!! I wish I had someone like her as a mentor as a warm and gentle truthteller is an invaluable friend and leader, indeed!!
I love your Donna Sue. She tells it like it is.
Donna Sue's life advice is gold!
Everyone needs a Donna Sue in their life.
Just binged Donna Sue videos this morning. Great timing! 💜
Never have i been this excited to see donna sue. She is so precious, not a lot of company has her. Hope our HR gets a little bit of donna sue.. 😂😅
I love these. Donna Sue is the best. PROJECT POODLES FOR EVER! lol
Donna Sue is the biggest sweetheart
I love these two characters. Completely opposite ends of the spectrum but Doona Sue's mothering instincts have almost cracked Brenda's armour=plated shell. As a wise old-lady I used to work with once said "she needs her fancy man to give her a good seeing to!".
I was with you right until fancy man.
Brenda needs support, reassurance that she's valued. Doing great at work is important, but she needs to accept that her personal needs are important, too. Which may eventually include a sexual relationship, but should start with hobbies, friends, and rest.
I absolutely ADORE Donna Sue
So helpful to have a reminder to break out of routine sometimes, as challenging as that can be (for some people more than others).
I identify a lot with Brenda and love Donna Sue. Brenda is still giving autistic vibes and I'm here for it!
Its good to see Donna Sue gently breaking down Brendas walls.
Those people who believe they are " too important" or "irreplaceable" are neither. They're usually a hindrance and usually end up being replaced by quite easily.
Every office needs a sweet and smart Donna Sue! I love her! Pour Brenda, maybe one day she’ll lighten up. ❤ love your channel!
"I don't want to think about that"
Brenda I love you
You could almost hear Brenda crack into tears at the "thank you, Donna Sue."
Toodaloo, honeydew!
I needed this reminder, thank you Donna Sue!
Brenda will never be a lost cause so long as Donna Sue is around. I am really enjoying her character development.
Donna Sue is the best!!!
Donna Sue is my new hero
We all need a Donna Sue in our lives
That short piece is just so brilliant.

Oh Donna Sue and her life lessons ❤️
Donna sue is truly the only irreplaceable one in my eyes lol
We all need a bit of "Donna Sue" in our lives.
I love Donna Sue.
Donna sue is getting through to her more and more
I love Donna Sue so much 🩷
May God bless all 🌻some after few punches but ya May God bless them all, May we all get 2nd chances have the empathy, strength and wisdom to uplift each other and become best version of ourselves ✨🤗💛
Love you Donna sue..
I love Brenda and I hope she breaks free someday. Thank you, Donna Sue, for caring about her.
Donna Sue, the company would crumble without you because you keep its PEOPLE going!
Donna Sue always speaks to me on a personal level. God Bless you Donna Sue!
YES MA'AM DONNA SUE thank you for giving Brenda the hometruths real sweet
Not to mention, being "irreplaceable" in a particular job/position means you will NOT get promoted.
Although I love the "coffee cup" lady, I think we need more "Donna Sue" in our Toodaloo! 😁
Can we start calling her Momma Sue?
Every work team needs a Donna Sue!
I love Donna Sue ❤
Toodaloo honeydew is hilarious! A rhyme and a pun.
Everyone needs a Donna Sue 😢
You are never impossible to replace, the most you can hope for is expensive or inconvenient
I am the "Donna Sue" of my work place😂
I once had a collegue that used to say - graveyards are full with irreplaceable people. Great video! Don't forget - you're more that just your job.
My ex was a dept head. He started to feel punky one evening after dinner and was stressing about missing a big something at work the next day. His self-importance got wobbly and he said there was nobody else to do what he did and if he didn't show up it wouldn't get done. He didn't pull that one ever again.
You opened a can of worms about Brenda and Ned. I'd love to see that played out😊
She is a TREASURE
Over the weekend my company had a big gathering since we’re all mostly remote, and I looked at a lot of the higher ups in the company and it made me think about how much time they devote to their jobs. Needed to hear this thank you magical lady!
your job will be posted before your obituary.....remember that
These are my two favorite peeps.
I love the erie robot-like corporate stair 😂🤣😆 so accurate!
This was something I really needed to hear. ❤
I wish so much Loe had been around when I was younger......

Perfectly said, truth.
I KNOW you embodied Ms Parton the whole time. I wanted to listen to 9-5 right after watching this vid
Best advice ever!
"Donna Sue you are no more replaceble than that lovely cup you drink from for 30 years" :)
Donna Sue reminds me of some people I've worked with, or a theoretical amalgam of the best of them.
I would love to see Donna Sue get Brenda to grow to the point of not being a corporate slave and understanding work-life balance. And then have Brenda shock the team when the demand for that balance comes from Brenda to management. That would be quite the character growth!
I will never get tired of “toodaloo honeydew.”
I meed that reminder from donna sue once in a while
I really need a full playlist, i got in to this in the middle
Health and family first! A job is a job! The choir will sing before you turn into ashes is so true! Heck, u will get replaced before you’re buried!
I once made the comment about how important I was to the company I worked for. What I said was, "Fill a glass, then dip your finger in there. Remove it. That hole that you made is how important you are as a person to the company." In other words, you can be replaced quickly once you're removed from the company.

Donna Sue is a real friend to Brenda. I hope Brenda, mulls over what Donna Sue has said to her. We'll see.😊
My Dad taught me when I was young: If you are irreplaceable, you are not promotable!
At the end of her 1-on-1's with Donna Sue, you just want to reach through the screen and give Brenda a big hug.
Great message
I have to admit I stopped scrolling way back when I first saw your video because I saw an attractive young lady,
But you have the
very best
employee/employer messaging on the web.
I've met every one of your characters in my meny work places, and they're all the same.
Keep doing what you're doing. You're great!
All Union reps should be using your videos in their trading sessions.
Lou, you should be an actor!! ( you are already ). Thx for your videos
Brenda should ask Ned out on a date.
“Toodaloo honeydew” ❤
i need a donna sue in my lifeeee 😭
Donna Sue got a little bed head going on.....lol.....😮
Damn this hits me
Toodaloo honeydew!!!! Ahhh I love it.
It is my bday today too!
A friend of mine told me once that cemeteries are full of irreplaceable people. Make time for yourself.
Irreplaceable is not good, for if you can't be replaced, you will never be promoted.
If you’re too important to let go, you’re too important to promote out of your current role as well.
