The sound on this episode is a bit distorted, but the damned bran ads are clear as a bell! Great episode though I can't wait for bedtime now. I love listening to Matt gun down some deadbeat as I doze off .
@@tacoheadmakenzie9311 My mother was born near the end of WWI and grew up in the 1920s and 30s. Outhouses were a feature of her childhood. I asked her if they really used Sears Roebuck catalogs for toilet paper. She said "Yes and we hated the color pages!" (Unlike the rest of the catalog the color pages were slick and not absorbent.)

Add me to the club!!
I listen every night also.
I wouldn't have liked living back then.
Me, either. No toilets and toilet paper!
And Chester with his dirty feet!
If you stayed back east, you could live in luxury with outhouses AND toilet paper!
