I'm new to playing guitar and I really cant decide if I want this one or the Odrive-Amp This sounds a lot cleaner, but it can also have that grit. The Odrive-amp sounds rounder and darker, and seem to lean more on a bassy tone instead of a neutral tone like this one. Gah decisions decisions
Choices choices :). If it was me, I'd probably go for the Odrive Blues. It indeed has a much cleaner sound but still gets gritty. I think it's the more versatile option of the two. But of course it all depends on personal preference in the end. Good luck!
It's been quite a while since I played the Boss Blues driver. So I can't really comment on how similar they are. But the Cuvave definitely sounds good though.

I love your videos! Well done! By the way, My Cuvave Fuzz is with the black screws. I have found one which is the silver screw, but it costs almost twice as much. Should I get it? Would it definitely be the old cuvave fuzz? P.S Ian from your commenter previously. Lots of love.
Hi Ian, thanks for your comment! If you want to pay more for the old version of the fuzz depends a bit on whether you find that sound much nicer. I you don't care too much about the 'velcro' sound of the earlier version maybe it doesn't matter that much? If you're handy with electronics or a soldering iron you could also try to tweak it yourself. It's not super hard to do..
Nice playing and a good demo of this drive pedal, thanks, I’m liking the the tone of this pedal, I much prefer something like this than the Fuzz that has so much hype about it which I bought but I really didn’t like the Velcro really gated spitty character of it, it was far to much for my liking and style, I sold it after two days of having it, definitely knew wasn’t for me, but I understand why others like it especially for the price that they are. Anyway thanks for the review I think I might get one of these drives soon,
Thank you! Yeah this is a little bit less of an extreme sound compared to the fuzz. You can dial this overdrive in to keep it very subtle, but still also get some good drive sounds too. It's more versatile and because of that probably better suited for more styles of music.
Nice demo and playing. You have also a very good clean sound. Impressive that the Yoyo American sound sounds so good. But I also think that you are good to mix the sound on your Daw. The drive pedal is also my taste 👍😀
Thanks a lot! I'm happy with the clean sound too. I don't do too much in my DAW, but I do add some compression and delay/reverb (I just like the guitar sound like that 😄). But the American Sound is a surprisingly good amp indeed. And the drive pedal is just the way I like 'em 😃

I think with this pedal you can use it for power. With their loopers for example you can use it to move files to or from your PC.
