This is Ethan, from the Orlando Tourist and in today's video,
We got to film inside the Velocicoaster station and got some really cool views. This footage was filmed on the grand opening day for Velocicoaster and with permission of course! I got to even see a rollback from the station as well!

I was on that very rollback and it was my first time riding. That backwards launch was something else.
Yeah the rollback was awesome!
I wonder if Universal will do something for April Fool's Day, where the ride goes into the second launch, stalls on the top hat, and then does the 0-50mph/50-70mph sequence again. When it comes back to the 0-50mph zone and halts before the s-turn out of the station, Owen Grady would say, "What? I thought we got you out of here! Hold on!" And then the ride shoots up to 50 mph all over again.
That would be pretty funny if that happened but I wouldn't get your hopes up 😂
Awesome video!! I’m glad Universal/Intamin perfected rollback scenarios before soft-opening. That’s got to be a mind blowing experience for a rider!
Yeah definitely! I was lucky enough to catch a rollback a couple rides before filming this so that was pretty neat to experience! I haven't seen any rollback where a train doesn't make it up the top hat yet though
For those who are wandering why it launched backwards, it is because the ride needed momentum to get the train over the top hat. It wouldn't make it from a standstill.

damn rollback on this thing looks better then KA or dragster that thing relaunched backwards at decent speed good to know its not a breakdown like KA would be this ride looks underrated
This ride really is a masterpiece! The rollbacks are amazing! It still breaks down in other ways tho, lol

what, a rollback on launch coasters doesn't mean the ride broke down, it just means the computer calculated the launch speed wrong, they happen quite often, even Lagoon's launching coaster, Wicked, isn't immune to them, and you literally launch up the top hat on that one
Yeah. Velocicoaster can do relaunches but you can also get a rollback too. It's rare but it has happened. Some are intentional but some arent

Definitely! Velocicoaster is definitely one of those coasters that really deserves the praise as well!

If they say it isn't good then they haven't experienced the crazy floater and hang time you get on the coaster, out of your fucking seat

Back and front. 2 different experiences. The back you get more airtime, but the front feels faster and you see everything better

Complete for both. Back is easier to get on, but they have a separate line in the station for front row. It's worth it. The other seats are also pretty good too though
I think front is better imo. The elements hit harder to me. Only the drop off the top hat is truly better in the back. But the ejector coming over the top hat is awesome in the front. The entire train is a good ride though..

Is it just me or is that rather obnoxious how it plays frequently and unnecessarily when they are NOT in the process of unloading?
