There are ONLY TWO FOODS linked to cancer. That’s it!
This might come as a surprise to you because when you look online, people will have you believe that nearly every food causes cancer. Dairy, meat, soya, sugar. But in reality, there are only TWO!
In this video, I’m showing you the two foods that have been clearly linked to cancer and why.
So let me show you how it’s done.

you missed asperagine in asparagus, it feeds and encourages breast cancer.
The term "processed meat" is unhelpful. The exact forms of processing should be identified. Until then it's useless to dwell on it. As a rule, I like to eat unprocessed meats, but the attacks on "processed meat" are like attacks on "carbs." BTW, processed carbs and oils aren't good either. Maybe their contribution to cancer is "mysteriously" undiscovered. It's also interesting how cancer tracks with metabolic unhealth…. Maybe get back to us when you actually _know_ something solid.
By the way, most cancers love glucose and ferment it for anaerobic reproduction.
@@CarbageMan I’m one of many who would agree with you. Perhaps she could have said ‘over’ or ‘highly’ processed meats. We don’t need to scaremonger unnecessarily.
@@CarbageMan actually, the hotdog cancer study was found to be caused by red number 3.
@@gristlevonraben That makes sense. They love to blame meat.
Excercise, excercise, excercise. Inactivity is harmful to your health.
Who r u to give proper professional advice ??? This is the problem with channel's like this. Bull shit.
Your right , exercise keeps the blood flowing and helps and flushs out toxins and the heart strong.
Correct. And too much exercise is really bad, too, as new studies are showing. Especially past a certain age.
Cancer cases skyrocketed when they brought out processed food 🙄
And the biggest common factor is sugar. Tens of thousands of studies show that cancer is fueled by glucose.
And vacsenes(purposely misspelled)
Depends what is meant by ‘processed’ food. Add some fruit to a blender and that’s deemed processed.
Vaxine too. It messes up with your immunity.
Caner cases grew when they took us of of organic, naturally fats and started pouring seed oils down our throats, yes processed foods are a big problem because they are full of seed oils, artificial food substitutes, sugar, excessive salt, and a host of chemicals that we should no be eating. Go back to preseving meats like humans did for over a thousand years, halal and kosher only and you will see this cancer phenom go away.
I got cancer from industrial chemicals.
My sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995. She had been working with a benzene based solvent in the type of work she was doing for about 10 plus years. Her surgical oncologist strongly believed that this was the cause of her cancer, as she had no prior history of cancer and there was no family history and no other contributing factors. She is 72 and has been in great health since then, thanks to God!
I’m so sorry to hear that. What is happening now, are you in treatment or recovered from it?
@@debbiecreter2005 happy to hear she is doing good. I am now 11 years in remission. I worked in the printing industry for 22 years. And took classes in printing while in high school. Many chemicals I used are now completely banned.
@@defendingthefaith.7889 Thank you for your kind words for my sister. I’m so glad you’ve been free of it! It’s interesting you were in the printing business. My sister’s career was in fine art and during that time she was using the solvent, she was using it to clean the silk screens she used to reproduce prints of her work. She used oil paints. She switched to water based paints when she was diagnosed and her doctor voiced his concerns about that chemical exposure. God bless you with a continued good healthy long life!
Well, if you think about it, industrial chemicals are what is making the meat toxic, and alcohol as well. Not to mention that most alcoholic beverages contain heavy metals, pesticides, and if you drink cocktails, are loaded with sugar.
Processed meat gives me migraines... alcohol gives me migraines
What about waay to much salt or sugar? Sometimes I'll keep eating something that is super salted or sugared, and I instantly get a headache.
E numbers in processed foods may kick off migraines. For example, if you eat a breakfast bacon sandwich, plus a full caffeine coffee, then slightly later in the morning you eat a chocolate product, it’s a good way to have a full blown migraine. Try it.
@@willbee6785 ,
But caffeine helps my migraine. What's an E number?
I eat no processed meats, and drink alcohol free beer sometimes.
Eat whole foods raised properly. You want to have lunch meat. Buy a beef roast, chicken, turkey or pork roast. Then slice it up. Bonus it’s way cheaper as well.
I've been trying to figure out what to do because I like sandwiches. This is a good tip/ idea, thanks.
Finally someone says something sensible 😊
it is actually NOT cheaper by a long shot. buying a roast and extracting a pound of cooked usable meat vs getting that same prepared meat in slices sitting in a vaccum sealed back on a shelf is A LOT cheaper. Poor quality lunch meats are by and far a cheap food, cheaper than buying the source. Added to your "foods raised properly" would add an extra surcharge for grass fed/grass finished, organic and hormone free. YOUR cooked roast will be 3-4x the price of the cheap lunch meat version. FACT. So don't do it under the belief you are saving money. You're an idiot if you think that.
@@misanthrope_01 Need more facts then an opinion.
These increase your risk of certain types of cancer, but just the risk of it. My grandfather ate bacon or ham and eggs for breakfast almost every morning. He drank alcohol on a regular basis. He lived to be 86 years old. Old people die. The bigger thing to worry about is when young people get cancer.
Yep, my grandparents smoke like chimneys and ate all the bad foods, they died in the Mid90s, my mom is 90 and she did the same thing… No guarantees
Bacon ham and eggs are among the more healthy foods. Only beef might be better.
I don't eat processed meats anymore. When I go out to eat I choose what is more healthy.
Perhaps she should have labelled them ‘highly processed’. Some processed meats are okay, especially if the ingredients list is short.
Solution: get pure meat, salt it with pure sea salt, bake it= make your own beef or pork sandwich meat.
Good stuff, I work in medical field, friend is a Doctor in nutrition and she has told me all of this as well. Good advice.
As a cancer individual I stopped those two habits...maybe a 5% alcohol content or wine is all I only consumed on a special event but none after due to chemotherapy. After watching this I will stop purchasing beef jerky products. Deli meats is my weakness especially smoked mesquite turkey and red meats consumption has been reduced since I'm currently going through medical treatments (not much of appetite and anemic).
Watching more for cancer info and nutrition. I don't want any reoccurrence from a stage 4...chemo is brutal enough 🤕🤢🤮😵.
Thank you so much Dr Amy processed foods an alcohol have been out of my life for several years now
I think being alive increases cancer risk
Processed meats typically contain sodium nitrate AND smoke flavoring. Nitrosamines are the carcinogen that is targeted. I did not know that celery juice contained sodium nitrate. And alcohol is bad, of course.
You don't have to eat ultra processed foods. If your health is more important to you than what your friends eat then skip that garbage.
I've just been diagnosed with bladder cancer and I eat clean, take supplements, exercise, no smoking or alcohol. So, it was a huge shock to say the least. I did have a lot of bladder stones which my urologist said may have damaged the bladder causing cancer to manifest. So, now I'm not sure what to do nutrition wise since I'm already eating healthy and have been for a long time.
Yes this can be extremely frustrating. Eating after cancer is a different kind of healthy than eating before cancer. Both are good. Just needs to be more specific to your body now. If you want to chat more email me dramy@cancerfreedomprogram.com
@@dramycancerrecovery Thanks, doc. I may take you up on that!
I think and my specialists say to eat “Clean” non processed, simple, pure food is always best. Think like a farmer, plain, fresh and nutritious. Best advice ever “treat fast food as your enemy”. A sandwich at home is always the best choice.

Most processed meats I see have Nitrites instead of Nitrates. What’s the difference?
One vowel. :)
Don’t eat either option
Nice video. I agree but I eliminated all processed food. I don't want the added factory chemicals. There's enough chemicals in food from growing food so I don't need any extra from processing.
Same. I went plant based and eliminated all processed food, added sugar, and soda and my MGUS (precancerous blood disorder) numbers have either improved or stayed stable and many of my symptoms are now gone. Processed food/chemicals are never a good thing.
Thank you so much doctor for good advice.philippines
Thx Doc❤
I'm a big kid now! Lol. I am 75 now. Seriously, I love to eat a peanut and jelly sandwich everyday. My Chef wife doesn't want me to have one. Saying it is not good.

Many peanut butters have hydrogenated oils in them. Make sure it's one that is natural and preferably without added sugars.

a lot of people drink a glass of red wine with there meals .
Low Cancer rates and cardiovascular rates ..
actually the leading cause of death in Greece is cardiovascular disease and cancer. you think it's from smoking? Australia has a longer life expectancy than Greece and we eat tons more meat. Hong Kong eats more meat than anyone and has longest life expectancy. The red wine is the red grape skins so you get the benefits eating red foods.

Dr. Amy,Thanks for all the great videos and information. I watch your video all the time to help my mother any way I can. My mother has uterus cancer age 87 and is bleeding causing her to be anemic. Is there any treatment she could do to stop the cancer other than chemo, radiation, and surgery?

GREAT VIDEO AND EDUCATION. THANKS FOR SHARING. I LEARNED SO MUCH.
What about sardines? They have a lot of benefits but are mainly available in the smoked and canned form.
sardines in brine....great food.
Look at the ingredients list- usually sardines and salt. All okay.
They usually are canned in aluminum cans. Aluminum may be a bad idea.
mercury. only have a couple times a week
Well..in my country(Croatia) we have everyday fresh sardines

Yes that’s right.

What is your opinion of Li, and his theories about nutrition to prevent cancer?
I Love this woman
Does canned fish, like sardines or tuna count as processed meat?
No
I had a BLT for lunch, and I am having a hot dog and a bratwurst for dinner. I just turned 82, so I guess I should quit if I want to see 83,
You may already have cancer but your body’s immune system has kept it from growing into later stages. You feel healthy at 82, so don’t worry about it too much unless you want to live to your 90s. If you do, I’d reduce the processed food to maybe once or twice a week, just not every day.
One of the greatest cancer risks found in processed meats is the common ingredient Sodium Nitrite (NOT Sodium Nitrate). When Sodium Nitrite is ingested, it is acidified by the hydrochloric acid in the stomach. The presence of protein substances allows the formation of N-nitrosamines which are carcinogenic.
Check out the ingredients other than meat and nitrates. High fructose corn syrup, maltodextrin, various chemicals and gums.
Maltodextrin very bad I won't buy anything with it in any more.
I wonder what the situation is with processed vegan salami, bratwurst, bacon, cold cuts, burgers, soya medalions and so on. Do these also increase 50g by 18% cancer risk. Don't the manufacturers also use the same additives? What about smoked liquid or kala namak, smoked paprika powder, etc.? Is organic better?
People used to smoke on purpose because they didn't want to live so long..... Some people still don't care about themselves.... Sad
Very interesting 🤔
Thanks Doc !! ❤🇺🇸✌️
Does turkey breast from the deli,
Cause problems?
Thanks you beauty
Unfortunately today you always have to be careful what you eat, I read in a book that even conventional meat has residues of multi-resistant germs, because all the animals live together in such a small space, they often also get other medicines. Unfortunately, fish and seafood are no better because they absorb all the pollutants from the sea, OVB, dioxin, lead, mercury, etc. I have managed
yeah vegan nonsense. there is pesticides in everything - plants have more biological effects than meat and hormones... and it depends on the farm. if I buy cow meat from pastured cows from a small farm who roam freely or pastured chickens from a farm where they are not kept in cages.... it all depends. Be careful of vegan research it's not the whole picture. There are more pesticides on wheat than any animal and more fungi and other diseases from plants. the number one cause of food poisoning is in fact salad.
rice is it alright?
can you explain to us about squash poisoning
What's that?
You mean you don’t….know!? Oh my goodness….nor do I….joke….I try :)
A dietician at vmc i miss informed me about the processed meat more than a decade ago
I’ve heard that turkey cold cuts and chicken . When you think about it chicken has salt put in in to preserve it .
Not all chicken has that. It tells you on the label If salt water is added or not.
Of course my 2 favorite things..........??? UGH
Is minced beef classed at processed meat?
is one slice of processed meat enough to cause cancer?
What are your thoughts Dr Amy on Dr. T. Colin Campbell and the The China Study?
No meat, dairy, eggs, sugar,etc
Glad I don't care for alcohol. As for processed meat I eat it very rarely, hopefully I'm on the right path to cutting out things that aren't beneficial to me and incorporating things that are in my diet.
Canned tomatoes? Sugar ?
They’re only catalyst ? Or accelerants ? Don’t agree GF
Have a blessed day ❤
'' The truth is that it's much simpler than that ''. That's exactly the problem with how you're approaching this. You do not understand science nor research methods. You keep saying risk risk risk. It's not risk that they found in these studies because these studies cannot establish risk. It's actually higher incidence that was found in associative studies (observational). Risk implies causation. There is no way to know in those studies how the people that got cancer got it because they didn't control any variables that could have affected the '' getting cancer '' variable. They didn't do an experiment. There is literally nothing that you can conclude based on those studies if you want to make changes in your life and reduce your actual risk of getting cancer.
I eat nothing but whale blubber. I should live forever.

Celery contains nitrates. Should I stop eating it?
It’s not the nitrates that is thought to raise cancer risk.
Meat part has nothing to do with it though. Additives have. Wherever they are found.
Cancer has 2 fuels. Glucose and glutamine. So always cut out glucose regardless.
So I guess sugar is alright
vegetable oils are the big one you are missing
Cooked food and raw food

@@dramycancerrecovery Thank you for your reply :)
What about prosciutto. Its not exactly processed - just pretty salty.
Salting meat is considered processed
@@dramycancerrecovery that's super strange. I'm definitely not doubting you. Just saying it's strange that utilizing the natural element of salt to preserve meat is considered to be processed. Egyptians have been doing it since 2000BC, Sumerians have been doing it even longer.
I feel modern day nitrate/preservative concoctions in conjunction with modern day meats (let alone the way typical cold cuts are processed & mechanically separated) is far more unhealthy than simply salting a whole piece of meat
Other than watching your sodium intake, it's ultimately alot healthier than consuming typical low grade cold cuts (like Bologna for example).
If I buy baby back ribs and smoke them is that a processed meat?
I am a vegan, I have been a vegan for about 9 months now due to some cardio based test results. Generally reversible conditions, which I believe could be achieved through diet, exercise and supplements. I eat processed vegan food including various vegan hamburgers and chicken. Some are mushroom based, some are soy based, some are bean based. Is there a cancer risk for vegan processed foods? By the way, I never consumed alcohol my entire life. Well, I have tasted alcohol but through my entire life, I would guess that I probably consumed a grand total of about 2 oz. of alcohol. Also, does the cancer risk include sugar alcohols like xylitol?
Yes all processed food lead to cancer especially vegan burger because it's highly inflammatory
My recommendation to you is to eat whole foods including animal products and to forget about veganism but it's just my opinion, do what you want
YES vegan processed foods are generally horrible for you. Read the ingredients.. many words you cannot even pronounce. And soy best be organic & nonGmo
Yes, there is a huge risk for isolated soy protein. It has the same amino acid profile as animal foods. Jeanette Murray Wakelin was a vegan marathoner whose sponsor for her races was Cliff Bar whose protein bars were made from isolated soy protein. She got aggressive breast cancer. When she went off of those bars and went raw vegan, she reversed her cancer and made a documentary called "Raw Can Cure Cancer" showing her running a marathon every single day for a full year.
Dr. John McDougall has shown that isolated soy protein raises cancer risk HIGHER than dairy protein.
Dr. John Kelly wrote "Stop Feeding Your Cancer" and showed how his cancer patients had their cancers reversed on a whole foods plant-based diet, but came back when they started eating meat again. It's the protein and fat and HEME in fake meats that are there problem. Eat WHOLE FOODS.
All of that vegan store bought food is still processed! Best to eat pure and learn to make your own meals.

Processed meats? or is it the fact that people who lead unhealthy lifestyles ie lack of exercise, smokers tend to eat a lot of processed foods and fast food that are high in sugar and bad oils. They will also eat processed meat because it requires little preparation. Is it the processed meat on it's own causing cancer or the rest of their lifestyle. Serious question. I don't like epidemiology, I'd rather go with biology.

@03:20 What I can see on the picture -- well, this is how our ancients people preserved their meat - when they had too much to eat fresh.
I suppose they must have had a lot of cancer death then.
They died of exposure, infections (that are now curable with simple antibiotics), or animal attacks. They didn’t live long enough to be diagnosed with cancer. They were dead by 30
