Maaaan not trying to be too corny here, but I just wanted to say that Jake Lee is an extremely inspirational guy and a damn good fighter. I really can’t wait to see what’s in store for him and his team, and I really hope whoever out there is struggling and sees this video, gets the motivation they need to continue on their journey!
I must add that that's the kind of sparring that is difficult to find: technical, no ego and not trying to rip your head off. Looks like a great place.
When i first saw your calgary video, i thought jake learned muay thai just for fun or recreation but daaaamn, he fights in professional events and even has a 4-0 record............ that's crazy!!! what a beast
You can see how insane of a lead hand he´'s developed due to having some limitations. Good example of it here 3:31. So inspiring to see someone who don't let anything stop them from doing what they love. It's all in the head.
His name is Jake! He’s an awesome guy and a great instructor! I actually went to his gym before covid lockdown. But man I really enjoy learning from him!
This video is a message for all those who say that they are tired of something or life isn't going well and crap . This guy isn't complaining about his life and is putting all efforts . He is a real man !
That's definitely some of the most controlled, ego free / technical sparring I've seen of recent times. Great stuff / awesome environment to progress. Interesting also to see these hybrid MT / Kick Boxing / Taekwondo styles appearing
Some how got the time to see your video, since my exam are going on, love to see ur video it relaxes my mind. And very much appreciated keep up the good work 👏 👍 ❤❤❤
Didn't even realize he had a prosthetic until 1:06, I was beginning to think One Armed was a Muay Thai fight style because I didn't see a one armed fighter lol mesmerizing work 👊🏼
Respect to you @Jeff for sparring the One Arm Fighter fairly bro. He has amazing defense and flow congratulations on the growth of the channel too...Stay Blessed.🥊🙏🏾
Amazing. I did my senior project on martial arts and the phycological and physical effects. I would like to show a clip from this video to demonstrate that training can be for anyone is they rise to the occasion. Watching Jake spar was awesome and motivates me to keep training harder.
massive respect to Jake Lee a very technical , fast pace and respectful sparring session learn more as a fighter from Jeff with all do respect I would love to spar with you if I had a chance to meet up
Haha that pro fighter makes it difficult for jeff. I saw years ago in myanmar a limb one good one stiff legged fighter that won his bout easily. Good to see that this handicap makes people stronger. He deserves the title pro
@@MMAShredded thanks man, I’m an Asian guy too, I’ve been watching your video since that time you went to do the head slip In the public. It inspire me makes me want to go train but I never did because I was fat, now that I lost so much weight I’m going to start but I’m afraid that my leg isn’t conditioned ? How can I do it at home ? Dumbbell ?
respect Respect RESPECT. Awesome video as usual, but what makes my truly happy is giving credits and respect to those with physical difficulties but still go at it full-force and achieved great things. Smiling from my heart when I see the art of my country, Thailand, helped gave you, him, and everyone such good time. Thank you, take care, and best wishes :)
Grate video as always Jeff. I personally wanna thank you for the videos u posted during this lockdown, thanks to you my stand up and stamina drastically improved, my evading techniques and kicking game are improved by a lot and my leg kicks are vicious. In sparring I'm doing way better than before. Thank you🙏🏾 keep it up and god bless you. I live in England so we are currently in another lockdown but hope yall doing better than us overther
One thing I find impressive is the fact that he seems comfortable in both stances. Being a switch stance fighter already requires some additional learning time to develop both your stances evenly, but with only one full length arm, it means that you have to learn 2 different games depending on which of your arm is in front: one were you can throw the jab and lead hook, and one were you can mostly only throw the rear hand.
I have a paralysed left arm and have recently taken up boxing. More for exercise than for competitive fighting because I’m 57 years old, but I’m wanting to stay fit and strong. That being said, I am extremely competitive and was doing my blackbelt judo training when I paralysed my arm. I have my first sparring session tomorrow morning and Jake’s abilities and successes are an inspiration to me! Wish me well!
There was a woman with one arm at a boxing gym I used to go to. It is inspirational to see people that are differently abled break through what society believes as "restrictions".
Not tryna be corny but I love how your quick, evasive, light on your feet, and you have almost no holes in your game. Not gonna lie I do steal almost every technique I see you use with success and add them to my arsenal.
Great vid as always. I wish more people where like this coach you sparred with. Most coaches tolerate ego and even have a huge ego themselves. A gym or a dojo should be a place where we get along and try to better eachother. I can't tell you how many times I saw such pieces of sxit break someones nose, jaw, rib, ankle or injur their rotator cuff and shoulder (like a dude did to me) just to win a sparring or end up on top so that other men would praise them. I hate that so much and when someone is weaker than me or kicking my ass I act the same and try to better myself while being humble and not hurting them or myself.
Man, Riley Pequin seems like the jolliest guy who ever punched somebody in the face. He tags you, he laughs; he gets tagged, he laughs. Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.
Man. Don't hate me cuz im Indian. But man im watching ur stuff for a while. And i gotta say you are legit a a badass fighter. I learned a lot from you. And u really pressure test every thing u say. Prev vids about using different moves from diff fighters and landing them mid spar. And those spars ain't light... I hope this channel grows more. And please do a vid with Fight tips..
I had a chinese friend who also had one arm and was a fighter. He lost his arm in an unfortunate accident during a fight but that didn't stop him from becoming a great fighter. After a while, he developed great power in his punches and defeated many people. He is well known for having defeated the master of thr flying guillotine. He retired after that fight. One armed boxers can fight.
Nice video as always Jeff! Do you have any tips for strength and conditioning? I haven’t trained in a while and would love to get back training on the heavy bag as well as general S+C if you have any advice on a routine on that regard. Keep it up man love from ireland 🇮🇪
Jeff, you're really good. Also, I have a question. I have a back ground in boxing and am starting to transition into MMA. Should I start with the MMA Striker or the 33 day solo course that you provide?
Hey bro thanks! The MMA Striker is more so a book/curriculum that you can learn and try to apply yourself in your training. It does require a partner. On the other hand, the 33 Day Solo program can be done all by yourself with no equipment needed (or you can train with a partner/group), and they are full follow along classes. Since covid is keeping a lot of us from training at gyms, I would recommend the 33 Day Solo. If you have questions, feel free to email me at jeff@mmashredded.com!
@@MMAShredded Okay, thanks for the info! I have a training partner but maybe I'll do the 33 day solo for my own development. You're the man. I hope I can train with you one day.

Jeff i really love your MMA like, non linear style of Muay Thai! Makes it so much more unpredictable and way more formidable!
I had to click this video to find out if it's a Muay Thai fighter with one arm, or one Muay Thai fighter that has a gun.
hahaha
Yo same I thought he was gonna spar a fighter who had a knife
😂😂😂😂
I must add that that's the kind of sparring that is difficult to find: technical, no ego and not trying to rip your head off. Looks like a great place.

That sweep at 9:14 was so controlled and smooth. All his fighters are so calm and collected too. Looks like a great atmosphere to grow.
