- Thanks for joining me as I HPA tap my AAP01 gas mag. I needed this for some testing so thought why not share how I do it?

Ive been loving the aap01, great cqb and great stock hop unit. Range is super impressive out of the box, i dont feel a need to hpa tap yet, i love the sound and feel of gas currently too much
HPA is just an alternate gas - You get more consistency from HPA - that's not questioned but there aren't really any more benefits than that and being able to change the pressue to reach a desired FPS/J output. This video was a little on the low side for pressure as my MTW runs
with hpa on 7 bars the gun works better than on gas, an with a small hose you do not get in drouble while handeling ist. Especially on a rifle, you do not need to charge the magazin all 3 mags with gas and bbs. more fun less work ^^
I’ve seen some run a tube into the slot for the bbs that was connected to a hi cap mag at the other end. And he just had to wind the mag and it would feed all the way up the tube

What kind of valve for hpa tap?! I was using we-kj for stock action army aap01 magazine 25 rounds but 50 rounds magazine is leaking with that valve!
WE type I used, stick some Teflon tape round the valve, 3 wraps.

I did just like AngryBull and tapped my Mag. Even got the same HPA Connector from Balystik. Has anyone ever encountered the Problem that the Magazine is not filling with Air correctly?
Meaning that i get a few shots and then it is out of Air. Waiting for a few seconts gives me another 2-3 shots. Regulator(at 100psi) and BottleReg are also Balystik and both HPR
Been lookin arount the Internet but cant seem to find anyone who hat that Problem.

how to get the Valve rock solid on the magazin, my modification like in your video always get loose after some shooting, the little oring moves back and the sealing is gone.
A couple of wraps of PTFE should hold it tighter.

Is there a way to make the aap01 more hpa air efficient? Such as replacing the mag as a better gas reservoir?
Easiest way to reduce consumption is to reduce the weight of the moving parts, less weight to shift means less gas used shifting it. Lightweight bolt would be an easy swap out. I used the 5KU standard lightweight bolt and it made the pistol snappier, lighter, less recoil (not that there's a lot) and I got really good efficiency.
can this also be done with the AAp-01 drum mag 350 rounds? I checked the valve and it looks just like the one on this mag.

Lightweight BBU and only about 65psi (from when I ran my mtw last). Not a lot louder at 80 though 😎

@@rightcoastfishing1241 start at 80 and work up until you get where you need to be. Don’t go above 110 though as that would probably be a bit too high.

Hey chap I just picked up a AAP-01 and I want to fully build the internal and have it with a 370 mm inner barrel.
I want to make it shot at 30 rps @ 400fps with a .32 on a HPA tank.
I like the tap set over the m4 mag adapter.
