Fully agree Stuart - we are part Scottish and part Cornish - lived in NW Highlands near Aultbea - on the shores of Loch Ewe for 15 years.
@@aberdeendeltaforce You're showing an incredible lack of respect in that comment David - in part because of your use of Christ's name and also because of a disregard for the work that Kinging-It have done in capturing the beauty of the Scottish landscape through their footage. Having spent a lot of time editing videos, it does take an enormous amount of time, and to capture it the way they do, all credit to them. With regards spiritual enlightenment, I'm not sure that they set their channel up with that in mind, but rather to document life's adventures and promote the places they visit. They're in my prayers, as are you. Merry Christmas - I hope that under the current circumstances you have a good one.
Me and my family used to have our yearly holidays in Scotland ..it's a lovely place and I've never met a rude person there either..we're only from Cheshire lol but it felt like worlds away .. If anyone ever said a bad word about the place I'd question if they'd ever been..clearly not! It's a beautiful place ..we went a few times to Butlins in Ayr too and had a lovely time as kids going on all the free rides or going in the cinema anytime we wanted to lol .. this would have been in the 80s though !
Right all you travel and TV people out there....listen to me ....these two need their own travel show .....like now !!

Glad Forbes Garage came to the rescue - we lived just outside Aultbea for 15 years until 2017. Woke up every morning to views of Lewis and Harris. NC500 has definitely brought more trade to the area. We miss the quiet and the scenery but not the endless rain and midges.

There was no calpol when I was younger for a cold so I grew up drinking a hot toddy from a young age! ( obvs not too strong but boy they helped me sleep and sorted me out a treat!) I have them now in-the winter just because I love them. Warming after a long walk with my dog and again before bed! I sleep like a baby after a toddy! Bloody gorgeous!👏👏👏😎👍💞

Loving your videos. Only recently stumbled across the channel and loving your zest for life.
This time last year me and my 17 yr old son completed the NC 500 in a friends 28yr old camper. To say it was an adventure is an understatement. We broke down on day one, twice (fan belt). Then again on the second day (clutch). Spent the night in Inverness B&Q car park but couldn’t get anyone to fixed it, but turned out to be low fluid. Fixed myself. We then completed the rest of the journey completing 1400 miles in 5 days.
Unfortunately due to my sons autism we were not able to go off course and visit anywhere on the route.
As I said this was an adventure which we will never forget and watching your NC500 videos brings back great memories.
Just returned from our whistle stop tour around Wales, 1000 miles in 4 days. Llandudno, Anglesey, Llanelli, Wrexham then back home to the north east. All by car and premier inns.

In Germany we have a similar recipe against catching a cold - we use rum instead of whisky and call it "Grog". Ein "guter Grog" (a good grog) is a one which only contains a minimalized amount of water, bless you!

I just adore your videos, definitely a highlight of my week 🥰 we did the same trip august- September 2019 and it was honestly the best time of our lives and we saw highland coo’s in Applecross and the only deer for the whole trip 🤣 so fingers crossed you will to 🤞 keep having the time of your lives on our behalf, because we were planning to have moved over (from Oz) this year...except for he who shall not be named throwing those plans out the back door 🚪 so for now you guys are our tour guides and I couldn’t think of a better pair of people for the job 🥰😘🧳🦄🚌

Hey guys, please be careful about hills in Scotland in the winter, without a map try to leave early to give yourself more than enough daylight. the dark can be very hard to navigate in and the weather in Scotland can change quickly. loved the shots!!

Wow, the car park for Stac Polliadh was jammed and we were lucky to get parked in the summer - had the thing to yourself in December! Stac Polliadh was a bit of a beast. because it's short and half day, you think it'll be easier than it actually is! 🤦♀️

Now that does surprise me that Craig has an aversion to heights, because of all the cliff jumping that he does. Absolutely beautiful scenery photographed brilliantly, the top of the mountain to the bottom of the Glen, mind blowing,, and just how cold was that water, still you had the perfect warmer in the hot toddy, still rewatching from vlog 1 and your journey through everything, makes me realise how much can be achieved if you want it enough. love you guys to bits and RYOW 😘😘
