Awesome. I've been wanting to do this for years to both open and close the blade with a spine mechanism but I've tried to design it using the shark lock, Superlock, or Tri-ad Lock. One of these days I'll do it but I'm not a knife maker so nobody cares what I do 😂
I WANT ONE 🥳 🎉 REALLY COOL, please make one all titanium. And 1 titanium with some gold/ brass accents. It would be #1, oh and make an od green version for all the tac lovers.
These are prototypes shown at Bladeshow Atlanta, but going into production soon! I would estimate Feb-March of this coming year for a release date. ..Thanks!

The advantage of a frame lock over a spine lock like the Shark Lock is the snappy ball detent, whereas the benefits of a spine lock are that it's fully ambidextrous, it enables you to both open and close the blade via the lock, you don't have to place your fingers in the path of the blade while closing, and most would agree it's also more fun and fidgety... This knife (the Aztec) gives you the benefits of both lock types. ...Cheers! :)
Never liked frame locks. They are a failure waiting to happen. It's a very cheap way to make a lock. If you ever wanna see how bad they are look up old videos of coldsteel with Andrew Demco testing locks toughness.

I've never understood this sentiment, but I see it everywhere. I'm assuming you'd prefer thumbstuds? In that case, I'd hope you're aware that thumbstuds themselves are... through a hole in the knife, correct?

It's a frame lock where as the super lock by snecx is a whole different locking mechanism. Both super incredible
