@@pcapcom5283 A commission is paying someone to perform a request. This is what Brandon here does. You pay him to have him make these tracks, he doesn't just do them for free. (Unless it's something that he wanted to do himself.)
In order to make a commission you have to contact him via Twitter or Discord while he's open to take any and request one.
The base song is $300 for anywhere between 3-4 minutes. For every extra minute it's another $50+. Vocals are $100. There are other factors too, but that's all the basic stuff.
From their perspective, this is basically equivalent to two guys fighting over the last slice of pizza.

We went from the wholesome sparing match with the greatest heroes to a dual between two of the biggest bads in their universes. This match is finally happening. A shame this song can't be used but now we'll get two great songs.

For those of you who keep asking “will this Commission Track be the official Death Battle Music?”
No, it won’t, there’s a way to tell the difference, notice how the Official Death Battle Tracks have the Death Battle logo at the top of the Track Art, but the Commission Tracks do not, Brandon Yates has stated many times that these Commission Tracks are not to be used for the Official fights if they ever become real Death Battles (nor do they confirm that the matchups in question are happening for real), he or Therewolf Media will compose something else for the real thing
Think of these Commission Tracks as sort of like Trial Runs that also serve to spread matchup ideas, and then Brandon Yates or Therewolf Media will try to one-up themselves for the real thing, IF (and that’s a big IF) they get confirmed
That’s how it has worked in the past, and that is how it will continue to work in the future

He noticed an intense and sharp orange light coming from behind him, and as he turned, his gaze, which could pierced the soul of any mortal, was matched with a single, unflinching eye the size a miniature sun, but devoid of any heat that such a star could give. Instead, it gave out an all-encompasing cold that froze the people of cybetron silent as they gazed upon their greatest enemy, and most horrible nightmare. The lord of chaos, Unicron, had arrived

The true unicron had revealed himself, his form larger than even Galactus, but yet, the Lifebringer remained unmoving, though curious as to the nature of creature that faced him.

Galactus should be launched back a lot more then a few feet. These guys are planet sized and a few ft difference isn’t even recognizable to them.
Galactus needs to be launched halfway across a local Star System or something for it to be significant

Ultimately, I think this ends in a stalemate. I think in terms of raw power, Galactis more or less wins straight up. However, Unicron is a multiversal entity who if his form is destroyed, can call forth a new form from another universe and ultimately can only be permanently be destroyed by his opposite, Primus.
We need a fight script between these two.

The battle between two of the biggest planet destroyers in fiction and no matter who wins here, the universe loses due to how many planets that will be destroyed in the battle.

Making things even crazier is that at his peak, and before the multiverse got reorganised, Unicron was an OMNIVERSAL entity. He existed across all timelines, all realities at the exact same time? The reason why the various timelines got all fucked after Armada and Energon? Because his death in that timeline created a paradox, so now he’s both dead and alive at the same time. If you were to examine Unicron, you’d have to examine all of his appearances in 90% of the franchise, from G1 to Prime, because you’re not looking at different versions of the same guy, you’re looking at the same guy, existing in all those timelines AT ONCE.

The matchup we wanted last year but didn't get.
But one I can get behind as a what if with this banger. The theme of this song fits perfectly with a battle of the planet eaters. And the cover art is absolutely stunning just to look at.

And given how much this track slaps, I think I can tell which Brandon prefers to make.
The former now no longer has a clown reference, for Brandon did mikasa vs mei, 2 very powerful godly lightning users
Dead tired again so I’ll make this quick, which is a shame because that song’s amazing for a great matchup.
I really like it. It’s heavy, raw and feels powerful. Everything that classifies those characters is found there. The electronic parts fitting the « cosmic » part of both characters. I love it overall
The chorus (IE: 3:08-3:48) is absolutely amazing and extremely catchy and perfectly encapsulates both characters’ personalities with that slow and « impending doom » vibe it gives.
The ending (3:48-4:42) is also completely epic, making for an intense and even more powerful finale to a fight of quite literally universal proportions. Truly an awesome track that sounds completely epic and that I’ll listen to again, I’d say this might even be a bit of a shame that it won’t be usable if that battle ever comes to being officially in Death Battle. Either way, amazing work as always.
Also fitting that such a great and wanted matchup gets sponsored. And given how qualitative those commissions are, I’m 100% for the sponsors as that’s just bonus given it helps Brandon *not be homeless* and we all know he needs to keep producing music until the *heat death of the universe,* which wouldn’t be a possibility without money.

I'm guessing its gonna be another lyrical rap (not a rap battle between galactus and unicron but rather a rap about both of them) then it's gonna be an orchestra and deep choir in the background. The track art is probably going to be both galactus and unicron's hands grabbing the earth with both of their horns protruding on the planet, indicating theyre fighting over who gets to eat earth. Idk thats just an idea that might happen.

This absolutely ruuuuuuuuules! This might be my new second favorite track, being topped ONLY by Will of the Drill.
Also, if Galactus is at the absolute peak of his power, (I.E. when he’s fully fed or the life bringer) then Unicron is done for.
