Step-By-Step Puncture Repair Tutorial

  • Fixing a Puncture in a Car Van Or Truck tyre using a Puncture Repair kit. A screw in your tire can leave you stranded at the side of the road. In this how to video I show you a simple puncture repair step by step. As I type this I have done another 4k miles on this tyre without any issues.
    I have used these without any problems for a couple of years now. Getting a flat tyre at the side of the road can ruin your day. I now carry this kit to get me out of trouble.

      Thats what people say but they have never failed for me. I have driven 15k+ on them without issue.

      Make sure you fit the cable tie to the pump. :-) Makes life a little easer ;-)

    Was a bit surprised (& disappointed) initially as I was looking forward to your jobbing heating repairs, but the content was in keeping with all operatives working in a vehicle and very interesting.

      Nice one, Im not that experienced in oil compared to gas but I do enjoy Oil more. I also have no smell so Oil doesn't bother me at all. Vans are a constant annoyance for me. We always have something wrong with one or another....

    Good video and good demonstration. The price of this kit is about the cost of one repair (ish) but it is the time saved that is the real winner.

      For me it's about the rest of the days work. If I have to cancel jobs then the day is ruined.

    That's the difference between a sparky and a plumber/ engineer. Sparky would have taken the day off and we fix pretty much anything. Lol only kidding to the sparkys out there.

      For all the different work I do now I needed a bigger Van. 3.25m lengths of steel pipe fit under the floor. No roof rack required. :-)

      It's still a VW. :-) I do have a Transporter too, but not the one in the intro. I will be selling it though because I'm not happy with it.

      I had one for my scooter but the handle broke off the first time I used the reamer..... I got the tyre sorted but the kit went in the bin.
