- Fixing a Puncture in a Car Van Or Truck tyre using a Puncture Repair kit. A screw in your tire can leave you stranded at the side of the road. In this how to video I show you a simple puncture repair step by step. As I type this I have done another 4k miles on this tyre without any issues.
I have used these without any problems for a couple of years now. Getting a flat tyre at the side of the road can ruin your day. I now carry this kit to get me out of trouble.
Here is a link to the kit I used in this video, it is an affiliate link so if you buy it I get a (very very small) kick back. I didn't do this video for this kick back. I could find more money on the floor of the van behind the drivers seat ;-)

That is a handy piece of kit to have. Good job Ollie❤ gotta keep moving.
Great bit of kit. :-)
Throw at us everything you've got, ng,lpg, oil, domestic, commercial, tyres, tiding up the van etc...❤
Cool. I will. :-)
That is a good short term fix.
Thats what people say but they have never failed for me. I have driven 15k+ on them without issue.
You have defiantly earned your cub-scout badge for side of the road puncture repair
Sweet. I need a sewing one and then I can add it to my jumper.
Class bit of kit 🎉 you could double your subscriber’s with this mixed bag of material ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely.;-) I hope so.
Got a similar kit, not had to use it yet, but good to actually see it in use, Thanks.
No problem. It works great for me ;-)
Great bit of kit, saves a new tyre being fitted.😎
Yep. Saves a fortune over time. :-)
Great how to video!
Thanks :=)
Great video, thanks for that, keep em coming 👍
Thanks, will do! More like this or the repair stuff?
Great video I have been thinking about getting one of these kits and now I am convinced. Thanks
Saved me a fortune in the time I have owned it.
Have ordered kit and same compressor, thanks for making the video.
Make sure you fit the cable tie to the pump. :-) Makes life a little easer ;-)
Thanks Ollie,
Very useful for all jobbing engineers...
Was a bit surprised (& disappointed) initially as I was looking forward to your jobbing heating repairs, but the content was in keeping with all operatives working in a vehicle and very interesting.
Thanks mate.
I wasn't sure about it but I figured I would show it. Back to boilers next week.
Awesome mate. It's all relevant. No van, no graft!! Cheers. Love the variation in content. The oil boiler repair last time was good also. I'm GSR and Oftec love your content.
Nice one, Im not that experienced in oil compared to gas but I do enjoy Oil more. I also have no smell so Oil doesn't bother me at all. Vans are a constant annoyance for me. We always have something wrong with one or another....
Handy video keep them coming
I will. :-)
Just got one these kits today! On your recommendation and they are really good quality
I wouldn't recommend anything I haven't used for a while. It should save you one day ;-)
Handy piece of kit and well worth getting.I crashed me van last week so off the road sorting new van 🤣.Keep the vids coming great content and always learning 👌
Ah thats shit. Vans are a bit or a pin tbh. Always something.
Yes like these type of vids fella
..👍
Cool. I'll mix it up when I can. ;-)
This is a well handy kit, could save you a lot of hassle.
Any video that helps people out is good👍
Love Crafters, got one myself 🙂
The drive is beautiful. I wouldn't go back to a Transporter.
Great repair, nothing worse than having yur van off the road. All the extra admin required reschedule work.
Thanks Ollie.
If I remember I will show the inside of the rear tyre when I get it changed.
I have one of those repair kit, had a puncher and basically it paid for itself there and then. Thanks for the refresher on the puncher repair 👍and upload what you want, I will watch with interest 👍👍👍👍👍
Cheers chap and thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Nice one. Thanks for watching. :-) It does pay for its self on the first use.
Useful. 👍
Thanks. :-)
Yeah enjoyed this! Got a smaller version I carry under the seat on the bike… they work really well..
I got one for my scooter but is was crap. I broke the handle off it first use.
@@HeatingGeek what scooter? 🫠
@@millymoo6575 Just a SH. Great for London but I don't use it enough
@@HeatingGeek Honda👌🏻 great fun.. roll on summer eh!?
Exactly :-)
Been meaning to buy one of these kits for a few years
Paid for its self first use.
@HeatingGeek coz u reminded me, I've just ordered 4 cheap sets for all cars and van.
@@accesszero4803 Nice. :-)
Great video! It is nice to have variety! And I actually am thunking of getting one of those kits…was never sure if they are any good 👍 take care
yeah, very good kits :-)
I have one of the smaller kits in every vehicle i own including a small air compressor and lidl tool kit.
I now have a grab bag to swap between vehicles.
Good video and good demonstration. The price of this kit is about the cost of one repair (ish) but it is the time saved that is the real winner.
For me it's about the rest of the days work. If I have to cancel jobs then the day is ruined.
That's the difference between a sparky and a plumber/ engineer. Sparky would have taken the day off and we fix pretty much anything. Lol only kidding to the sparkys out there.
Sparkys are all wronguns.
Bit of LDF works wonders.
Yep, usually I can't find a gas leak with it though.
What happened to the nice Vw transporter?
Came to ask them same question 😂
I traded it in against my new vw transporter.
@@HeatingGeek you needed a big crafter? Big for a plumbers van!
For all the different work I do now I needed a bigger Van. 3.25m lengths of steel pipe fit under the floor. No roof rack required. :-)
🤘😎🤘
Thanks Wayne, :-)
Is that detector spray?
Yes :-)
Gas detector spray?
@@27forme2 Yeah, Its in the van. In a pinch spit would do :-) Whatever it takes to get it done.
I bought that same kit because of you but not had to use it yes 😂😂
How because of me?
@@HeatingGeek I’m shore you posted about it before. So I went and got the kit and it’s now sadly packed in the car 😂😂
@@MarkJones-kd6ye Maybe, I don't remember tbh. :-)
New van ? What happened to your VW??
It's still a VW. :-) I do have a Transporter too, but not the one in the intro. I will be selling it though because I'm not happy with it.
Whats the kit called ?
The link is in the description. I don't know the name.
What year is that Van?
the 19-24 model
I carry a smaller version on my motorcycle
I had one for my scooter but the handle broke off the first time I used the reamer..... I got the tyre sorted but the kit went in the bin.

What??
Awesome thanks for your efforts 🎉❤
Thanks for watching it.
