  • Level 1 Vs. MAX Level 100 Wizard Paragon! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - this is a test to see how long the magus perfectus can survive with its minimum and maximum degrees! Unsurprisingly, testing this proves to be really difficult especially with the massive drain and potential phoenix bugs...

I still can’t exactly tell to this point if the drain is supposed to be a bug or not, since the stats (-100 mana per hit, and degree 100 has a lot of extra attack speed + pierce) kinda back that up… regardless hopefully it gets lowered because that's tough.

Personally I think the drain beam should be buffed, either that or increase the max amount of graveyard mana. Just doesn't feel like enough

The wizard paragon is easily the highest-quality paragon yet. The way it caters to both casual and competitive/min-maxing playstyles is impressive, and I’m excited to see NK top this with a future paragon. Great demonstration video like always!

I’m guessing that the degree 100 has higher attack speed and pierce and therefore drains mana faster because the mana drains per hit with the arcane blast attack

I think the degree 100 drain might be caused by the fact that the attack drains per hit, as opposed to per use. If the wizard gets more pierce with degrees, then it could proc the drain more often, and drain way faster because of it

This paragon has probably the highest skill ceiling of the current paragons in the game. And if ninjakiwi follows this trend of adding paragons that require more player input, then imagine what the leaked sub paragon could be like, with submerging and a massive first strike to switch between. Hyped for more high skill paragon content!

I think with Metamorphosis specifically, they should make it so you can cancel it so it doesn’t drain your whole graveyard. Additionally, cancelling the ability refunds a percentage of its cool-down depending on how much was drained.

I think the phoenix of the degree 100 is bugged because it's happened to other people where the degree mod would only change the wizard itself but the phoenix would only change in appearance because it's meant to shoot much more fireballs than that

Was waiting for this one since the micro vs. no micro is huge for this one. Also with the Engineer paragon getting fixed so retrying rounds don't reset the overclock would you give it another go?

    Ah, yes. Unsubmerge the wizard

This is probably a bad idea but, what if the Zombie Bloons only spawned when the Drain Beam was getting used? That would add a little bit of security since the beam alone is pretty weak.

atleast 1 of 3 things should happen to make the wizard not feel crippled at higher degrees

I'm guessing the fire blast is just a retextured firestorm, which would explain why it would have limited range. I'm guessing the range is the size of the screen, but since the phoenix is never centred, that means it can miss the other side of the screen. That wouldn't be a problem for firestorm since it's always centred. So I'm assuming it's an oversight.

I'd prefered it if instead of the paragon draining it's graveyard for every bloon hit per shot (the example of 5 hits draining 500 mana), it instead just drains the mana by the shot itself (100 mana every time it shot), at least with this it doesn't nuke it's own graveyard

i think what makes the drain beam so bad is the fact that it completely disables the phoenix while in use, that just seems like a bit much of a sacrifice imo

It makes sense for the paragon to be ability locked since it’s more designed for bosses so you can just save the mana pool and abilities for 20 rounds for the next boss

I feel like a good balance would be making the phoenix shoot it’s main attack while you’re recharging with the beam, like how the wlp has the normal phoenix and the one it turns into, just have the base one up during that time
