He chose Ninjas because they can actually scale rounds really well. No other towers like Monkey Ace you mentioned can actually make it even close to 300 without significant DPS from other sources.
Ascended paragons sound hella fun. Would love for NK to add them, but then again, Map Editor is their priority rn so yeah, don’t think we would ever get that any time soon.
Funny thought related to the lag: I'm like 90% that homing projectiles like seeking shurikens are much more intense to run than normal ones. So it'd be funny and slightly unfortunate if them changing seeking to be the range crosspath also made this strat more laggy
Wouldn't Boat have been better? You'd have merchantmen to farm cash for power, and you'd have pirates for insta-kills. I guess the only drawback would have been using a map with water, but since you dropped a pool in this run, you could have just covered logs in pools.

Named "Kaiju Monkeys", it is based loosely on Legendary's Monsterverse, and it uses the biggest, most animalistic towers I could come up with. Feel free to add your own as well if I missed any! Kaiju Challenge: Hero: Pat Fusty (As Kong) Towers: Beast Handler - Megalodon (As Tiamat), Giganotosaurus (as Godzilla), Pouākai (As Mothron or Rodan, whichever you like best) Spirit of the Forest - Since the Titans are caretakers of the Earth, some of which help plants grow at much faster rates, I thought Spirit of the Forest was fitting Total Transformation - As I said, it is based on the most animalistic towers I could find, and I thought Total Transformation fit the bill. Besides, the challenge needed some more towers than (effectively) just Beast Handlers 320 Banananana Farm - As mentioned in Spirit of the Forest's reasoning, the Titans help plants grow, so now we have the 320 Banananana Farm Alternate Rules: Seeing as this would be mostly just a Beast Handler challenge, I opted to include the humans who help Godzilla and Kong. i think using Ultimate Crosspathing just to simulate the ability to get four of each tier 5 could've made this a tad better, plus perhaps a mod for four heroes at once as well
Unlimited Tier 5s is a simpler mod with way less mod lag. I dont know of any mod that lets you DUPLICATE heroes, but you can choose four DIFFERENT heroes with the In Game Hero Selection mod

it would be really cool if you could continue raising the paragon degree after buying it, like the pops it got would level it up or you can sacrifice more towers to it to raise the degree

Reducing projectile size actually helps a LOT on mobile, it makes late game almost as smooth as the early rounds. It’s a petty huge difference, so I usually play on mobile if I want to go late game.
It would be interesting to see you try a race with a level 1 account and see how low of a time you could get. You wouldn't need to restart every time you try again if you don't want to, but it would still be a same kind of challenge.
Since these are just great "What if" runs, Paragon wise, you should allow yourself to mod in multiple heroes to get more Geraldo so you could speed things up tenfold. It will probably save you a lot of time.
Try this challenge with Sentry Champion instead, it's insanely powerful max buffed due to attack speed scaling 2x. What causes the lag is actually every single seeking projectile calculating trajectories every frame. Straight moving ones cause SIGNIFICANTLY less lag.
Hey ISAB, a little suggestion: When the game turns into a lagfest can you show the video edit speed multiplier somewhere? Just so we could be impressed by how much you suffer for our entertainment.
Isab they should have a mod to where every tower has a paragon and if you have every single paragon with every single paragon having 100 M pops will be a degree 100 apex paragon

You should do a bloonjitsu+shinobis vs grandmaster vs shinobis test. Maybe 1 bloonjitsu vs 1 grand master then multiple bloonjitsus vs 1 grand master equating for cost
I wonder if you could get a really high degree plane paragon by getting a level 1 ninja paragon in the back to slow down all the bloons and then farming pops on the planes
Particle effects like alch and glue cause a ton of lag. I can’t use gwen on my computer because her buff causes so much lag it basically guarantees crashes for me
If some attributes of paragons are based on conditional statements rather than calculations you will not get a true power beyond degree 100, that might be why it underperformed so much.
I'm 99% sure the lag is caused by dmg calculations, and them being single (or at least very limited number, altought I bet its just single as even 2 thread cause insane amount of conflicts and such) threads only. It has nothing to do with graphics. This is why selling Perma brew made the game run better, as that made dmg calculations much easier/simpler, which helped a lot with this case when there's maybe a thousand or even more dmg proc per second.
And a note, smaller projectiles might even makes the game run a tiny bit (possibly not noticably) worse, as they have to scale (zoom) the original projectile image one more time, but this is really theoretical, i think its possible to optimise this problem, not sure.
Unless they figure out how to make damage calculations not lag the hell out of you, late game will a messy lagfest that even a jacked up CPU can't dent it. That's just the case with Tower Defense I guess, even my last major TD game in Warcraft 3 custom maps, suffers a lot from damage calcs lagging the game in late game scenarios.

Smaller projectiles helps in gameplay but its for screen clutter, tmk all the lag is from the game doing “ok how much damage is this doing and what is it doing” for every single projectile not the art, you might get like one frame better lol but not much help

Seeking is probably a bit more taxing on the game than normal projectiles. But also fully buffed grandmaster is just a lag machine on its own
For sure, the computer has to process the path to each moving bloon from hundreds to thousands of projectiles at the same time.

I think the level 1 ninja paragon would probably steal too many pops because of the Grand Sabo effect cutting the HP of all of the moabs by 25%
ISAB maybe download a mod that gives the paragon buffs like how the boomerang paragon gives buffs to towers canonly
