This is just me working the "ins & Outs" and getting the screen and LVGL Graphics working in ESPHome - Home Assistant Buttons | Switches | Lights and Sensors coming Soon.
Excellent stuff! Potentially a cheaper alternative to the Sonoff NSPanels? Though unlike the NSPanels these aren’t using the Nextion display, so I’m curious to see how this develops! :)
At a 3rd of the price, I too wonder how these will fare. :)
Just discovered your channel. Thanks for not totally dumbing down esphome and levelling up us average ppl
That's a high compliment and something I hoped to be doing. Thank for the support. 🙏
Looking forward to more programming on the LVGL graphics!
The LVGL library is still only available from the Beta Version of ESPHome - As soon as it's 'released' I'll do a follow-up video/tutorial.
Also, will these run on 24V DC or are they limited to 5V - also possible to wire a DS18B20 somewhere? I have a bunch of thermostat controllers that id love to replace.
I can't say for sure about running it on 24V - I doubt it though. As for the DS18B20 probe: As you asked about running in on 24V, I'm guessing you won't be using the Relay(s) - Therefore those ESP32 GPIO Pins would be free. Failing that, there is Tx & Rx on the board, which could also be used.
@@3ATIVE I was gonna be using a 5v rail if the pins were exposed for the DS18B20's
The 24V supply just makes everything nice cos my thermostats and solenoids run off 24V.
Looks good 😊. So much wonderful tech coming through
I know right... and very inexpensive.
- To quote Two-Minute Papers: _"What a Time to be Alive!"_
@@3ATIVE So so true. I started in Industry adding hydraulic fluid to hard drives - now we have LLMs & the versatility of a Esp32.
The quote is undeniable true 🤔😳🤣🤣🤣🥂
@@clairerovic LOL That's cool. My journey started with TTL circuits for security and Comm systems.
But, now we have $2 WiFi enabled (easily) programmable MCUs.
When I, and I guess you, started doing what we do today - would have cost 1000s!!!
Where did you find the documentation regarding lvgl on ESPHome.
Come join my Discord Server, I've documented and linked to everything there:

Thank you, ordered...maybe it'll run OpenHASP too..
Cool... Yeah OpenHASP looks great. ;)
yes, it will run OpenHASP ..
Yeh, works wonderfully..
Am late
It doesn't matter. But, I'm glad you're here. 🥳
Soz for the late reply. My "Config" has been Split, that's why have them folders.
What you need to do is add the code to your configuration.yaml file.

Which one did you get the 1 or 3 way relay display?
I only brought the 1-Way, as I won't be using any relays.
I need to get one and the mooorrreeee
LOL Yes, I got two immediately and I don't even know what I'll use the 2nd one for yet!
Do you think it’s possible to load on it home assistant dashboard?
"...to load on it..." - Sorry, I don't understand.
@@3ATIVE use it as a dashboard for home assistant )like ns pro panel)
@@alondinbar6193 OIC. Yes, that's the plan.. To have Buttons, Switches and Sensors displayed on it. Indeed, Just like my NSPanel tutorial(s) - Just way more cheaper! LOL
"Ive got, Ive got Ive got..." but not an inkling of information on how to do it
Just keep practicing, you'll get there eventually. In the meantime, feel free to ask any questions you have.
