"Unique and impractical" is my specialty, in my wife's opinion.
Love it!!! 😂
Cleaver ideas! Keep 'em coming.
Thanks!! 😊
I love the ideas, especially the bar stools! Great job!
Thanks Reed!! 😊
Love the “I’ve got a small fortune worth of your products here” 😂. Great idea on the bar stools!
Thanks for watching 😃
And, given Aqara's prices, that's a lot of product! ;)
@@tychay exactly!! 😂
I’ve never heard of smart home vibration sensors. Great video. I’m gonna pick a couple up and see how I can use them to wow my peeps.
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the vid. With Matter updates and smart homes becoming a tiny bit more interconnected via thread radios, and Home Assistant maturing, im finally looking to jump in. Right now I just have matter supported smart plugs for basic stuff and want some ideas. I think im gonna start with Apple HomeKit which I might regret being an Android phone user. But for home home automation I think this with a cheap iPad and their Shortcuts with Home Assistant to fill in the gaps is how im gonna start. Looking forward to it. Peace
I haven’t started playing around with Home assistant yet, but that seems like the way to go. Amazon Alexa has been very good for me for years though.
I like the use of putting them on chairs. I was thinking about putting them on a washing machine to know when it’s finished washing the clothes, as if I’m watching a movie I never hear it finish.
Thanks for watching. See the comment below. That seems to be a popular ideal.
Agreed with your smart home philosophy. Your house should react to you and help you save when possible.

I like the bar stools idea. I'm doing that! Thanks for the video!

Have one installed on my dryer so I know when it stops and my laundry is done!
Nice!
Cool features. I like Aquara sensor
Thanks for watching!😊
Got some great ideas here. Keep it up!
Thanks!
I just got the idea to put them on the washer and dryer so I know when then aren’t vibrating anymore.
Thanks for watching! That’s apopular one… I’ll have to give that a try.
Very interesting way to use vibration sensors. Great video!
Thanks for watching. 😊
I have an Aqara sensor in the drawer of my coffee station table, when I pull out the drawer to get the hand grinder, the lightstrip overhead goes on - best use of a vibration sensor I have found for my home
I love that!!!
Great ideas! Thank you!
Thanks!
Great video, woud like to see your Watch automation
Thanks for watching! Do you mean a screenshot of the automation steps in the Amazon Alexa app?
I’m starting this automations journey! Great video!
Thanks for watching! 😊
I actually put one on my shower handle, anytime I turn the shower on, my exhaust fan automatically turns on. I have a Lutron Claro on the exhaust fan, so I have it set to turn off after an hour so it doesn’t stay on for an extended amount of time
Nice! Good to hear that it can withstand the water. Thanks for watching 😊
Cool product!
Love to check it out
Thanks for watching! 😊
I like the tap on the picture frame use. I use one mounted to the back of my mailbox in a custom 3D printed case. It's been there for over a year now with no issues. I might have to use the under the table automation
Nice! Thanks for watching.
great ideas, Can you do a video on how to turn off the heater/ac when a sliding door or window is left open?
I’ll add it to the list. Thanks for watching. 😊
Great product
Thanks for watching 😊
Pretty genius
Thanks!

Just entered the Aqara Universe, and I am impressed. I would love to see more regarding the new M3 Hub.
Thanks for watching! I’ll add it to the list.

I’ve bump into my chairs too often for this to work, sadly
I hear you. The Aqara FP2 presence sensor could be a good solution.
thx
Thanks for watching 😊
I’m currently working on one of these to go on my dryer. Once it feels the dryer on it sends a message to my Apple TVs the dryer is on. Then, after it stops, it sends a message dryer is done.
That’s awesome!!!
I can't get it to work. Once the vibration is triggered, it doesn't keep triggering afterwards.
@@BrendanByrne-it9uz I just built a test automation to simulate what you’re trying to do… I had to create a recording and save it in Apple Music, then create a scene to play that recording on my Apple TV, then create an automation to trigger that scene once the vibration stops on the sensor.
When I go to bed the light will come on for awhile and then go off
Nice automation.
Your video SEO score is very low.. How can I help you??
Thanks for watching. I’ll work on that.
