Imagine 10 years ago. Celebrity fakes were still pictures. Then a guy arrived on 4chan who had convincing videos. He was the only guy. Non I think was his name. For 6 months he was a revolutionary. Then deep fake technology became easy to obtain and within 6 months he was gone. Whatever technology he was using was overshadowed by the new stuff that could be done 10 times better and 100 times faster. Cut to 5 years ago. Nobody thought ai would ever be able to replicate a person's voice accurately. It was 30 years away we thought. Now there's frank Sinatra singing baby got back on RUclips. So you can say you won't be replaced by an AI, but there are a lot of things related to artistry that can and will be streamlined or augmented by AI. Why wouldn't you use all the technologies available to you? If you don't use whatever ai tool becomes available then the people in your industry who do use those things will be twice as efficient. Then 10 times as efficient. Etc. These technologies can and will be able to replicate everything a human can do, because it just needs to watch us all do it for long enough. It is just hubris to say you can't be replaced. We can all be replaced.. it just won't be as good as you... at first.

Given enough time and training a computer could eventually reach the point where it copies any human choices close enough that the average person couldn’t tell the difference

AI can barely even write a coherent and much less accurate explanation on history. It gets math wrong. AI is a theft program, not something that can challenge artists.

Ai is also comparatively a toddler at best wait till it grown up then we really will be fucked, btw the ai that can actually do cool ass shit is locked up behind several walls by the government much like most things they are giving us a very watered down version of what they actually have
