Pull the shirt with your off hand ONLY. Pull it to your neck and NEVER have ANY part of the shirt near the holster or trigger. ND's can be fatal. Draw speed is good to practice and smooth and fast is always better when done safely...but to re-holster, no speed needed...GO SLOW you have LITERALLY "the rest of your life".
Thanks for the video. I got my FIRST gun and I went to P365 with manual safety, did my basic class and shot 150 rounds. first shot blew me off as I never shot lol... and thereafter I was shooting and shooting and shooting. Loved the gun, coming down to holster, I reviewed tons of Holster for my need and decided to go with sig own Holster, the same you demonstrated, I think it is the best holster.
I recently switched from my non-safety p365 to a frame with a safety. I carried iwb and in my pocket (not loaded in pocket) for years. I now switch between carrying in my pocket and my appendix and got an optic on one of them. One thing I can advice is if you ever decide to carry in your pocket, practice every motion (safety release, taking it out, presenting, and dry fire) a lot with an empty weapon.
Ive decided on picking up a 365XL and i was considering the sig holster as well. So you stand by it? And how long have u used it if you dont mind me asking. My buddy said ill end up with a box of holsters before i find something thats comfortable and can be confident with lol.
Thanks for the reviews. One thing I’d be really curious to see is how the various holsters print and what you’re feeling as you’re bending, twisting, turning, raising your arms, etc. just getting into a lot of positions and letting us see what it looks like and how you feel. Most IWB holsters I’ve seen look pretty similar from a static stance. Thanks again.
I recently got a sig holster. It's kind of hard to find a fitting holster for my p365. My cheap galco holster was the most comfortable I tried and carried it for years. All the other ones I've tried have not been as comfortable once I start moving a lot like when fixing my car, cutting wood, or other things where I twist a lot. I have a glock trex appendix holster is super comfortable. So, I can only imagine the trex p365 holster is comfortable too, but I don't think it'll fit my sig. I'll try the techna clip but not till next week as that will need testing for functionality at the range. Oh, and I carry in the pocket too but once I start doing things like mentioned above but doesn't print anymore than my wallet.
Sig 365 X Macro Tacops here. The two best holsters I’ve found are LAG Tactical IWB worn at around 4oclock. For OWB Tulster Contour also worn around 4 o’clock. Both are extremely comfortable. I found putting some cant maybe 15 to 20 degrees makes the X Macro disappear and I wear it all day everyday. Just what works for me. Seems I’ve tried most holsters currently on the market but these two are what I settled on.
I’m a thin female and the holster that came with it, is huge! It looks like I’m transitioning. I’m left handed and want to carry concealed . I’m carrying it inside the waistband but it’s leans forward quite a bit when I’m wearing shorts but even in jeans , it’s obvious . I want a nice holster for left handed to carry on my right front side . What do you suggest? Thanks
Tried the Tulster and I'm not a fan. The clip was pretty loose and got looser over time, so the gun would slide around on my gun belt. Also the retention was good but I either had it too tight and the gun wouldn't rattle, but the retention was waaay too tight, or I could loosen the retention to an acceptable level and then the gun would rattle around. There are far better options than Tulster out there.
Tried the Tulster for my 365 with the sidekick and must say I'm disappointed. The sidekick makes putting it on a hassle as it always grabs your pants and makes you adjust to fit right. Also, the top of the grip still prints a lot. Felt it was pricey for what it is.
34dawgsgo With the sidekick it is a little bit difficult at first. But I’d owes secure the holster in place is the important thing. Take the gun out of the holster when you are putting it on. It makes it a lot easier. Just my observation.
@@Happ465 thanks will give that a try and see. Going to make a wedge for the bottom. Using a gel heel cup now but it's not thick enough about pushing holster into your stomach.
I noticed that on the sidecar holster his magazine is backwards. Hopefully that's just an option based on his preference. I believe most people (including myself) like their magazine facing inward/forward.
Appendix carry in general gives no issues with using the bathroom. Just unzip and fish it out like normal. Maybe a little push up on the muzzle end of your holster if needed.
I just purchased the Sig P365XL with Romeo ZERO (July 2020). I need an OWB for RANGE USE ONLY. I'd like it rigidly attached to my Blackhawk Range Belt. I've been looking around quite a bit. Any recommendations to narrow the field? Thank you.
Be careful re- holstering with the spider concealment. Keep your shirt clear. I noticed it was sort of in the way right before your reload. You don’t want it going down the holster with the trigger. With the extra mag, the rounds should point toward the inside of the body. Easier to reload. Just observations. Be safe.
How do you sit if you're appendix carrying? Like if you were to go to dinner or something? I've never understood how it's practical for every day carry.
@@Apalm12 it doesn’t work well when he goes to load the mag and has to flip it because he should be using bullets toward gun vs away from gun carry with the spare magazine
With my glock 21 I can but the gun is huge so I just use the stall so I can struggle with the gun without an audience. With the 365 and the holster it came with I can piss pretty comfortably while wearing it. Thinking about sticking with the 365 now lol
@@ConsumeYourSoul619 Unclip your holster and set inside your lowered pants. Any good holster will retain your gun. (You should be able to gently shake it upside down without falling out). You should do one of these on the P365 for guys with love handles and a belly.

“It looks like im transitioning” now that was a good one 😂😂
Any suggestions on inside the waistband or appendix for a (left) handed P365XL

good review
you could have turned sidecar upside down and shake to show retention,,,,or whould it have dropped
How do you sit if you're appendix carrying? Like if you were to go to dinner or something? I've never understood how it's practical for every day carry.
With a quality holster you can sit down and push the top of the holster away from you a bit and it's pretty comfy.
I’m still waiting for my T1C to come in!
Trex arms sidecar or
Teir 1 holsters
Does The Spider fits the P365 XL too?
You have your mag backwards in your extra mag carrier FYI. 👍

Everytime i tried the weapon shanks me in the stomach and I'm not overweight for it do so.

The clip can be moved up and down or set at the angle you want. Wing comes off with extra rubber pieces in box for when it’s removed.

I think leather is best. A condum holster with beavertail
I pocket carry my 365. If I appendix carry I grab a full sized Glock because the P365 sticks out anyway with that big of a holster.
But glock is bigger than p365?
Sorry, but you lost me with the Spider. I simply cannot walk around with a loaded gun pointed at my baby maker...
