I enjoy these videos because Rocco does it right!. I was looking to see if I was remembering right, and yep, I remembered which derby cover had been swapped to the Allen head bolt from the video showing stripped bolt removal. Real life fixes on this channel and no gimmicks. Thanks, Rocco!
I really enjoy your videos. Practical, to the point, and I can clearly see what you are doing thanks to your camera angles. Love Sportsters, they are easy to work on and everything is easily accessible. I'm looking for a particular 48 at the moment, it will turn up eventually; but boy, do I miss not having a Sportster at the stable.
Thanks for watching! I agree, Sportsters are great for those reasons. Good luck in your hunt for a 48, keep your eyes open! You will find your garage, jewelry. Ride safe and have a great day.
My first harley, I asked a harley tech about storage. He said dont start the bike during storage because it will cause moisture in the crankcases. I will also store it on my frame lift to keep the tires off the concrete and weight off the tires. And yes, add stabilizer .
Happy to help. Storing your bike is important. Just be conscious that the oil will sum after a few months so the first thing you do is start in the spring. Thank you for watching and your comment. Drive safe and have a great day. Happy holidays.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I've seen guys on here that say start the bike every couple of weeks or so through the winter and make sure it runs up to operating temp. I've also heard that's not good and just leave it after you've winterized it. Any suggestions? My bikes stay in an unheated garage through the winter months.
Happy to help. Put your bike in storage or your garage. I recommend keep it on one of those slow drip charger,. Thank you for watching and all your support Rizzo. Ride safe and have a great day. Starting your bike every week or so is not bad for the motorcycle. Can only help to minimize the oil that will sump into your motor. When in storage.
Happy to help. I will look it up and see if I can get that for you. Thank you for watching all your support. Ride safe and have a great day. looks like 5/16 - 24 www.hdforums.com/forum/touring-models/622148-clutch-cable-thread-size.html Hope this helps. When installing that cable lay it straight out, thread it in and then go for the handle on the bars. Hope this helps.
Happy to help. As I suggested Scott the motorcycle. Turn the gas on your Petcock off and let it run until it sucks all the gas out of the carburetor. Thank you for watching and all your support. Ride safe have a great day until summer.

Happy to help I would think you have a vacuum leak. Check the seals around your intake. That's usually a sign of your idol being funny. Thank you for watching all your support. Ride safe and have a great day. Let us know how it works out, spray, starter fluid and if Idle raises, you know that's where your leak is.
Happy to help. Clean it up and see where it's leaking from and then do the Rocker box gasket repair. I will send a video. Hope it helps. ruclips.net/video/3DePmrDeNKU/видео.htmlsi=z-Df_9U049XgDtpK. ruclips.net/video/iJQjTsp-xyw/видео.htmlsi=JHz7hAlPwIr8Wv3f
When I store my harley should I fill up the tank or leave it low, Should i shut the tank of and let the carburetor run out of gas i live in Michigan my bike might sit for a few months. Let me know Thanks
If it's a carbureted bike, turn the gas off run the bike until there's no gas in that carburetor if it's fuel injection, fill it to the top and don't worry same thing with the Carburator bike fill it to the top and don't worry, if you start and burn all the gas out of the carburetor by turning the petcock off. Thank you for watching and all your support Jerry. Any questions just ask. Ride safe and have a great day.
