I'd argue that the most important accessory, the first one you should invest in, one that lasts and transfers to every bike you'll ride, is rider training and lessons from Ride Like a Pro

That’s a great view on the FXLRS on its side , by showing the rear guards keeping the bike off the ground

I just purchased a 2022 heritage. I somehow missed a long scrape on bottom of frame on right side along with a good size scrape on the mustache crash guard. luckily i did not see any further damage or anything possibly fixed on bike. Crash guards are a must on any bike! Thanks for all the great info you give us all and thanks for all those years of your service as a police officer! Stay safe!

Another great topic Jerry!! Very informative! I've been customizing and riding Harley's for 35 years and need to practice capturing and working the friction zone and low speed turns a lot more. Love your collection of bikes.

Totally agree, simple and cost effective way to protect yourself and your investment. However, I agree even more with your last point. Practice clutch and throttle control and don’t drop the bike!

Totally agree in regards to crashbars. I have an 03 BMW RS and I’ve tipped it over damaging the bike. My 22 RT, I wouldn’t ride it until I put the crashbars on. Great video s usual Jerry. Thank You

After I saw you promite these drop guards a few years ago I bought some. Worth every bit of the price. My Indian Bike doesn't go over as far. And I'm not afraid to push my limits while slow speed practicing.

I install drop guards before I ride the bike. I haven't dropped my bike in years, but there have been close calls. I have them so that those 'close calls' do not become a drop that damages my bike.

Absolutely best advice Jerry! Save.hundreds if not thousands on one drop. Also, excellent demonstration on friction zone. It's a beautiful thing. I found the slow race to be a good way to practice it and get the feel for your bike's clutch grab. Always wondered the best way to explain that along with the light rear break pressure for stabilization on the very slow speeds and turns. Think you nailed.it. 🙂

Put front and rear on my Suzuki C90T , it tipped over once and nothing but those two bars touched👍

Your training courses and videos have helped me tremendously. Do you have any new discount codes for the drop guards? The only ones I can find are several years old.

@@motorman857 Thanks Jerry., they got a lot of stuff. I see sliders but no rear bars that would protect the bags. 2008 anniversary XL1200C, viking bags.

My 2018 Street glide came with front crash bars and I had Harley install the rear crash bars. I have highway foot legs on the front bars and I offer think although it’s very comfortable to have them I wonder if they will be a hazard if I’m ever in a slide situation? I’ll look into those extra protectors you talked about. Thanks for the informative videos. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family!
