Selena was a HUGE Latin star in Texas and Mexico, and is considered the Queen of Tejano music, which were mostly Spanish songs. She had dreams of hitting it big in mainstream America pop; and this song was recorded as part of that first album, which was never finished, due to her untimely death at the hands of an obsessed female fan.

So sad she didn't live to see how much people loved this first record by her in English, we lost such a great unique talent.

i talk to A LOT of people from india but im Mexican American and i had to thumbs up and sub. Selena for us latinos was a huge lose.. like losing 2pac. either way i subbed and keep up the good work. Namaste
