HSR Seele is what you get when Veliona is the main personality instead of HI3 Seele. If you know Veliona well, that despite being a massive, edgy tsundere dork, she is also the biggest Bronya simp.

The “I love you in every universe” phrase wouldn’t make sense because there are multiverses where Bronya and Seele aren’t aware of each other's existence (like Silver Wolf, for example)-or, like some of the female cast in Honkai Impact, they have affections towards the Captain, who is a male (which I’m not sure if it’s canon in the main story or only in events), which could possibly mean that Bronya and Seele can be bi.
The multiverse is “the hypothetical set of all universes.” Keyword: hypothetical.
Take Mei, for example. In GGZ and Honkai Impact, she’s romantically involved with Kiana, but in another universe, she is Dr. MEI, who's in a couple with Kevin and has a child with him. Otto is madly in love with Kallen, who is romantically together with Yae Sakura; however, Otto sees a different universe where he and Kallen are happy together.
Then there’s the Imaginary Tree, where it’s the origin of life itself, as all universes and bubble worlds are born there, with endless possibilities and boundaries.
And Welt’s dialogue in Honkai Star Rail: “The galaxy is vast beyond compare, containing an infinite number of possibilities. An individual's fate shouldn't be limited to a single path ordained by heaven.”

Seele in Honkai Impact is different from Seele in Honkai Star Rail because the big theme for Honkai Impact is growth, I am very sure that Seele will become just as strong as Seele in Honkai Star Rail one day.
Kinda a bit spoilery if you havent done beta storyline. But it is actually the opposite for Bronya, although Bronya had growth in Honkai Impact, her big theme in star rail is indeed growth, which is why Seele seems like the dominant one leading Bronya through the plot in star rail and Bronya led Seele in Honkai Impact.
@@allanwu4932 Good analysis. Indeed, the roles are reversed on who is being supported. Not to mention, the upcoming part of HI3 seems to have Seele as one of the main characters, so I am very looking forward to see her finally reach her true potential.
Mina will be happy to know, that Seele has a lot of screen time in store for her in HI3.
What makes this even better is that they are a power couple in-game as well, since Bronya has a skill that moves another character turn up alongside giving her ATK buff (alongside removing a debuff) and her ult gives her team extra crit, and ATK buff...what does Seele need? Extra ATK/Crit and who happens to provide the best and can give basically an extra turn...Bronya.
I think the red eyes is a reference to honkai impact's Seele, or rather Veliona, she is the other Seele with red eyes and hair

tbh the whole name is funny for a german speaker (as is all that anime "german") if you were to pronounce it correctly it's neither see-lee nor see-la but seh-leh if that makes sense, long e before the L eh after, kind of hard to explain but no A in sight anywhere
Fellow german here and yeah, I always cringe when the name is spoken in the english dub. Seh-leh is how we do it.

Also does anyone know if Seele is a name in Estonian? Cuz Seele is supposedly Estonian (even tho she grew up in Cocolia's orphenage) and I checked, Estonian does speak Estonian, (sorry Estonian people, typical Europe confusion,) but everybody seems to be like, yeah Seele is a German name.

I don't think it's an Estonian name or word. I think it's a Soul Eater reference.
Her full name is Seele Vollerei (or with the correct letters used in the German word Seele Völlerei), which word by word translates to "soul gluttony", or by meaning: "soul devourer" or "soul eater". The MC of that anime is also a girl who uses a scythe.
That scythe is also a guy. And in Stygian Nymph's ultimate, which is also in her in game animation where she saves Bronya in the Sea of Quanta, "Velona" transforms into Seele's scythe.

Man, do I feel like some kinda boomer reading the comments on HSR Seele lmao. Everyone is talking about how she has elements of both Seele and Veliona from HI3, in terms of personality. But I'm sitting here like "She's literally GGZ Seele from Fire Moth DLC what are you guys on about". Especially in terms of design. Didn't get too far into the Fire Moth before the GLB server shut down, but from what I saw, Fire Moth Seele is also a top, like in HSR (she literally refuses to cooperate wtih Bronya unless she agrees to have segs after the task, not even joking).

Hoyo fan are like that with everything. If two characters are friends its a ship. If the ship isnt same sex its a sin and all otp is true till hoyo says otherwise. If it happens in one universe then it must happen in all no questions. There can never be a case of friend in one, lovers in another, and eneimes in another. They are the same in ever verse as unlikely as that is.
I see lots of sheep stubborn degenerates here translating the wholesome Seele x Bronya interactions here as flirting. I understand HI3, but in here, it's very sibling-like. Thes are the same kind of basement dwellers that think another person likes them because they were greeted good morning.
