I recently just came to Jesus for the first time in my 26 years of life. I did not grow up in a religious home so I had literally zero background but my husband did have some Christian background. Unfortunately during his teens and 20s he turned away from God but we came together and made the decision to start going to church, reading the Bible, praying, and putting Jesus before all else in our lives. I have literally never felt more at peace or whole in my entire life. I am so thankful that we found God because the changes we have made in our life because of Him are truly incredible. We have 2 little boys plus a 3rd due any day now and we are so excited to be raising them with Christianity and can’t wait to see how the Lord will bless their lives. You never know how much you need Jesus until you accept Him into your life. He’s always calling to us, we just have to answer Him. ❤️
I am proud of you for not condemning the Christian faith due to one man's transgressions. Our relationship and walk with Christ is a personal journey. Man, and sometimes even the church, may fail us but Jesus will not! Look at where you are now sister ;) God bless you, Cam and the baby!

4:36 as soemone who just graduated this year and has had the absolutely worse start to their summer. I prayed again for the first time in a long time last night to god and I asked him for a sign. Not only is your story scarily similar to mine, but I feel as though this is god trying to give me a message that it will be ok. I used to be that way. I was trapped in a vicious cycle of self hate and depression because of my porn addiction until he saved me. Nothing is impossible for God as long as you believe with all your heart that He can do anything. That is faith and allowing God into your life to work miracles and wonders.

Hi Mal! I am a new subscriber, my story is very similar to yours. I grew up in a Christian home, kinda lost myself when I went to college, and backtracked on my relationship with God. I had lots of panic attacks and anxiety, then started dating my now husband who showed me that salvation cannot earned by anything I do but that it is a free gift from God through Christ. I’m still growing my relationship with the Lord but I am so grateful many grey things I was taught as a kid are now black and white. I married my now husband when I was 20, and now am 22 and expecting our first baby any day now! It’s such an inspiration to see other young Christian couples so secure in their faith and their relationships. Thank you for being so transparent and willing to share. Sending love and prayers ❤️

The Lord will deliver you I got delivernce Jesus set me free from panic attacks u years of panic attacks and ptsd from abuse. Turns out unforgivness was the root why I was in bondage for so many years.
Many times, even well meaning Christians, don't understand how mental health issues can complicate life. Or think you can just pray those issues away. By all means, pray. And be gentle with yourself. You are not a bad Christian or less than because you deal with mental health issues. It is no different than an illness that affects any other part/organ of your body. It just happens to be your brain. So what you can to improve your mental health, but know that God loves you completely no matter what the struggle.

Thank you for sharing this, I came to christ about 4 years ago. Driving in the car with my 2 kids and one in the way. I was so tired and sad about something and I let a car in ahead of me and they had a bumper sticker that said Jesus is! I said out load in the car Jesus is what? And my four year old said love! I started busy crying and started to really look deeper after that

He took His Son and allowed Him to die for the forgiveness of our sins and it absolutely amazes me that He did that. I’m so glad you shared your mental health struggles as well. ❗️❗️Please be extra vigilant after you give birth because you are statistically more likely to suffer from postpartum depression and anxiety and i just want you to be aware ❤ The postpartum care for mothers is lacking so please be honest with yourself and husband and ask for help if you need it because ppd is HARD. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I am old enough to be your grandmother, (I'm 57) but to hear testimony from a young adult is great! It's also wonderful to know that you found Jesus in College. What the world hears of college campuses is horrible...parties, drugs, alcohol, you know the drill. But to know that Jesus pointed you to the place you needed to be exactly when you needed to be there, and that the place was on a college campus!!! I love seeing the Holy Spirit work! I was raised Christian but never really knew what it meant until college when my now husband showed me what it meant to have a relationship with God. A year and a half later I made the decision to get baptized. I am still amazed at the way God works in peoples lives!
John 3:3-8 God truly does work wonders in saving souls through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and we don’t know how he does in the lives of others until we hear their testimony like the loud wind.
“Please help me, I don’t know what to do, I’m lost” such a beautiful and powerful prayer!! I pray this often as I need God to help me through all of life struggles and He has NEVER failed me!! God wants us to call out for help! There isn’t anything we will go through that He can’t help us walk through! Even if you think you’re handling things, don’t be afraid to pray out to God! Another HUGE takeaway from this video is that you need to surround yourself with those who will help and encourage you and your faith! Then you can turn around and be that person for many others! I truly feel like I work in retail as a manager to bring my joy that God has given me to those around me! I don’t ever feel like I’m unworthy because of my job because I know this is where God has spoke for me to be at this time in my life and I’m happy to be there!❤️ What a wonderful testimony!!

This is so beautiful! My testimony is similar, with a different addiction. It wasn’t until I met my friends at a Christian club on my campus that I truly started to open up and talk to people about Christ. (The club is Cru which was Campus Crusaders) Your story meeting your husband gives me peace that God will do the same for me if it’s His will. Thank you for sharing your testimony ❤️

This is very encouraging, I've been battling with my sin a lot lately and it has me feeling broken and depressed some days. Someone recommended I go to a biblical institute, to get away and go be with God, after hearing this I think I'm going to do it.

Fellowship is one of the most important parts for a believer. We pray for one another, encourage one another and disciple each other. For a while in my journey, I wasn’t in fellowship, prayer or studying God’s word. In the last 3 years, I have gotten back into fellowship with some dear brothers in the faith, gotten back into Bible study daily and prayer and it has made such a difference in my life. It is such a blessing and when you study the Bible, it is a blessing to share that with others. I pray for knowledge and wisdom for you and your husband as you grow in faith.

Mines aa long story but god saved my life and when i died and came back i had a whole new perspective. I went to church every sun, did brunch with ky church group i was so heavily involved and now i stopped given rare autoimmune diseases and have 30+ pulmonary embolisms. So cant do alot. But jesus and god gave me a new perspective on life

You hit all the right details in your sentences. Religion is a very, very, verrrryyyyy sensitive topic, and one word can mess the whole thing up. If you had said, “I’m very happy that you managed to find what you feel like you need to believe,” it wouldn’t be as meaningful and even though you would mean the best, little details can really make it sound wrong, as not great a thing that may be. When I talk to atheists, instead of saying, “I hope you find God,” I say, “I hope you find a life that treats you well.” Little things like that make it sound much better.

Wow, what a beautiful testimony! It's amazing how the lord works and his power. At this moment, as a mom and dealing w a chronically ill child I reflect back to my upbringing and same as you, would go to church, Easter and all of the required services for religion but didn't really have that grasp to what Jesus really was and what it meant. I feel far away from him at many times and as time passes I really have been searching for a way to feel and be closer to him. As I became distant from our lord, I really didn't instill it in my children and I think we really need him more than ever before.
I have special needs children. My son Joel is 2 weeks old. We spent the first 5 days in the NICU, we have a road ahead, but momma I couldn’t do this without Jesus!! He’s my strength and my sanity!! ❤ cast your cares on Him for He cares for you!!

At age 12, became really ill w multiple autoimmune conditions and has to be in isolation and away from the regular population. So much the online school was the only option for continuing education. A regular virus or bacteria can be deadly, so very hard times right now for sure. Hope you have a great day, thanks again!
Oh man! I too have found myself sobbing on my floor for Jesus to change me. I was done. I was done living my life MY way.. it went working and was leaving me lost and hopeless. I felt like immediately my eyes were opened. I saw the world with “color”. It was the strangest experience and all I wanted to do was countdown the days until church service. I wanted to Be with His people! Truly changed!

I have literally never felt more at peace or whole in my entire life. I am so thankful that we found God because the changes we have made in our life because of Him are truly incredible. We have 2 little boys plus a 3rd due any day now and we are so excited to be raising them with Christianity and can’t wait to see how the Lord will bless their lives. You never know how much you need Jesus until you accept Him into your life. He’s always calling to us, we just have to answer Him. ❤️

4:36 as soemone who just graduated this year and has had the absolutely worse start to their summer. I prayed again for the first time in a long time last night to god and I asked him for a sign. Not only is your story scarily similar to mine, but I feel as though this is god trying to give me a message that it will be ok. I used to be that way. I was trapped in a vicious cycle of self hate and depression because of my porn addiction until he saved me. Nothing is impossible for God as long as you believe with all your heart that He can do anything. That is faith and allowing God into your life to work miracles and wonders.

Hi Mal! I am a new subscriber, my story is very similar to yours. I grew up in a Christian home, kinda lost myself when I went to college, and backtracked on my relationship with God. I had lots of panic attacks and anxiety, then started dating my now husband who showed me that salvation cannot earned by anything I do but that it is a free gift from God through Christ. I’m still growing my relationship with the Lord but I am so grateful many grey things I was taught as a kid are now black and white.
I married my now husband when I was 20, and now am 22 and expecting our first baby any day now!
It’s such an inspiration to see other young Christian couples so secure in their faith and their relationships. Thank you for being so transparent and willing to share. Sending love and prayers ❤️

Many times, even well meaning Christians, don't understand how mental health issues can complicate life. Or think you can just pray those issues away. By all means, pray. And be gentle with yourself. You are not a bad Christian or less than because you deal with mental health issues. It is no different than an illness that affects any other part/organ of your body. It just happens to be your brain. So what you can to improve your mental health, but know that God loves you completely no matter what the struggle.

Thank you for sharing this, I came to christ about 4 years ago. Driving in the car with my 2 kids and one in the way. I was so tired and sad about something and I let a car in ahead of me and they had a bumper sticker that said Jesus is! I said out load in the car Jesus is what? And my four year old said love! I started busy crying and started to really look deeper after that

HI! I've been watching you on IG for about a month...congrats on your baby girl!! I just want to let you know that this fills me with hope. I am old enough to be your grandmother, (I'm 57) but to hear testimony from a young adult is great! It's also wonderful to know that you found Jesus in College. What the world hears of college campuses is horrible...parties, drugs, alcohol, you know the drill. But to know that Jesus pointed you to the place you needed to be exactly when you needed to be there, and that the place was on a college campus!!! I love seeing the Holy Spirit work! I was raised Christian but never really knew what it meant until college when my now husband showed me what it meant to have a relationship with God. A year and a half later I made the decision to get baptized. I am still amazed at the way God works in peoples lives!
John 3:3-8 God truly does work wonders in saving souls through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, and we don’t know how he does in the lives of others until we hear their testimony like the loud wind.

“Please help me, I don’t know what to do, I’m lost” such a beautiful and powerful prayer!! I pray this often as I need God to help me through all of life struggles and He has NEVER failed me!! God wants us to call out for help! There isn’t anything we will go through that He can’t help us walk through! Even if you think you’re handling things, don’t be afraid to pray out to God! Another HUGE takeaway from this video is that you need to surround yourself with those who will help and encourage you and your faith! Then you can turn around and be that person for many others! I truly feel like I work in retail as a manager to bring my joy that God has given me to those around me! I don’t ever feel like I’m unworthy because of my job because I know this is where God has spoke for me to be at this time in my life and I’m happy to be there!❤️ What a wonderful testimony!!

Everyone's journey is as different as we are as individuals, but we ultimately reach the same destination: knowing and loving God, and our neighbour as ourselves.

This is very encouraging, I've been battling with my sin a lot lately and it has me feeling broken and depressed some days. Someone recommended I go to a biblical institute, to get away and go be with God, after hearing this I think I'm going to do it.

Fellowship is one of the most important parts for a believer. We pray for one another, encourage one another and disciple each other. For a while in my journey, I wasn’t in fellowship, prayer or studying God’s word. In the last 3 years, I have gotten back into fellowship with some dear brothers in the faith, gotten back into Bible study daily and prayer and it has made such a difference in my life. It is such a blessing and when you study the Bible, it is a blessing to share that with others. I pray for knowledge and wisdom for you and your husband as you grow in faith.

Mines aa long story but god saved my life and when i died and came back i had a whole new perspective. I went to church every sun, did brunch with ky church group i was so heavily involved and now i stopped given rare autoimmune diseases and have 30+ pulmonary embolisms. So cant do alot. But jesus and god gave me a new perspective on life

I am an atheist, so i have never experienced the relationship with religion the way you have, but nonetheless, I’m very happy that you managed to find yourself and what makes you feel comfortable and safe! Much love ❤️
You hit all the right details in your sentences. Religion is a very, very, verrrryyyyy sensitive topic, and one word can mess the whole thing up. If you had said, “I’m very happy that you managed to find what you feel like you need to believe,” it wouldn’t be as meaningful and even though you would mean the best, little details can really make it sound wrong, as not great a thing that may be. When I talk to atheists, instead of saying, “I hope you find God,” I say, “I hope you find a life that treats you well.” Little things like that make it sound much better.

It's amazing how the lord works and his power.
At this moment, as a mom and dealing w a chronically ill child I reflect back to my upbringing and same as you, would go to church, Easter and all of the required services for religion but didn't really have that grasp to what Jesus really was and what it meant. I feel far away from him at many times and as time passes I really have been searching for a way to feel and be closer to him. As I became distant from our lord, I really didn't instill it in my children and I think we really need him more than ever before.
I have special needs children. My son Joel is 2 weeks old. We spent the first 5 days in the NICU, we have a road ahead, but momma I couldn’t do this without Jesus!! He’s my strength and my sanity!! ❤ cast your cares on Him for He cares for you!!
@@ashleywheeler8284 thank you for the words of encouragement! I hope your little one gets better soon. My child was a 25 weeker and head a rough start but did very well for a long while. At age 12, became really ill w multiple autoimmune conditions and has to be in isolation and away from the regular population. So much the online school was the only option for continuing education. A regular virus or bacteria can be deadly, so very hard times right now for sure.

Love your testimony Mal. It was nice to hear you so open about the hard times and how Lord as guided you back onto the right path. For the past 15 years the Lord as guided me to working with children primary school children in a faith based after school clubs. Hope the last few weeks of the pregnancy goes well.

I had the blessing of seeing my now partner (future hubby) coming to christ and getting to experience Gods love and peace. his testimony is very similar to yours. Always knew there was a God and prayed to him when he needed ,just wasnt sure where to go from there . He had so many questions. Then he found a beautiful christ loving church and it all just went from there. ❤
