He didn’t mention the dual radiator in the Stingray are on each side In the front and the Z51 gets an extra Heat exchanger in the right rear scoop for extra track cooling!

Two colour interior looks better than one colour..but anyway..its beautiful inside and out. It makes porsche bmw audi interiors look boring. The ford GTI.. well I'd ask for my money back. I prefer it over the mclarens interior. The front looks better than any car out there. Plus 2.8 seconds 0 to 60mph ..wow.

Good video bro! Don’t listen to all the hate.. Any sensible car person will know this spec is closer to 80k... The truth is a base 1lt 60k spec looks basically the same on the outside as the one in the video. Just different wheels and wing. To me I’d rather have a 1lt, I’ll be going from a base 2015 mustang gt so this will be a huge upgrade regardless. I can’t wait for in a year or two so the market adjusts and used versions are sold for below msrp!
I lock the roof panel in place, in the truck, by placing the hand on the paint of the top. To close the front deck, hand on the paint. To close the rear deck, hand on the paint, unless I missed something.
Everything about that car is beautiful including that blue color. Even the square tail exhaust fits right in to me. Its design looks like it was inspired by Bob Lazar.....and built by Area 51 scientists.
Personally, I love those rims. Extra spokes are a terrific contrast to the usual one dimensional rims. As for the square exhausts. This is not the original Vette. That is the point. They look great.
I agree… rims are very nice. They sort of form a polygonal design that remind me of the Lamborghini Diablo. The differences and departure from the original design is the point.

Actually GM have a diagram of the c8 with a 7 speed manual but the real excuse was the sales number from the c7 manual was not enough to offer it in c8. The Engineers already know how to get it done but GM management said no. They already had 911 lab cars for this very reason
If it performed better than a C7 it would be a competitor. It doesn't. GM released the stats: cheapest one ever sold was $69K, avg $83K, most expensive base model sold was $104K. Thats 2x the C7. Abysmal.
To me, it’s more of a $70K car because you’ll have to get 2LT to make it livable. I’m not sure how people could live with base 1LT, when it doesn’t have the video mirror.
I agree that the camera and blind spot monitoring are pretty essential to mitigate the visibility problems, but the fact that it’s possible to buy a $60K Vette like this is nuts. And even at $70K, it’s such a performance value
bench of lemons Actually that is not true. I have a convertible on order and the 1lt does not come with the mirror camera and it has fewer speakers and some other lesser interior trim items than the 2Lt.
To answer your question...that depends. There is no other so-called "supercar" to compare it to, at the similar price range. However, it seems to be holding its own with the higher priced exotics. When the Z06 or ZR1, or even the Zora comes out, it will most likely blow a lot of those pricey exotics off the road. But as far as reasonably priced sports cars, at the same price point, YES the C8 is the best performance car bargain? Just my .02 cents
your camera descriptions are so wrong. There is only 1 camera dedicated to the performance data recorder, and it is located at the top of the windshield. All others are backup/rear view/ front view cams.
Seats are 18” farther forward so they can improve balance and performance with a Mid-engine design. Dontav couldn’t get the bean counters at GM to build and everyone else took the idea and went racing. If you are going to drive mostly on the street don’t waist your money on the Z51 package unless you want it to ride like a Rock!
Oh they are 100k. People buy them for 60k at the dealership and sell them for double the amount. Thanks to the lack of amount being made right now because of covid-19. You can either get a 2020 base or a 2019 zr1! Hard to choose!

The five open spoke wheels are the lightest and best even though all the critics complain of all the wheels. It started with one critic and the rest were just want to he’s. No one has an original thought in their heads.
I like the design EXCEPT for the front radiators lack of a real grille to protect them from rock and debris getting kicked up into them and damaging those radiators. That is a design flaw in my opinion.
Just built one and for a specification up to my standards it cost 80,000 to me that is a big pass because of MARK UP and the delays with covid. Im gonna wait for that c8 z06 for sure

The car was aero dynamic before the Z51 spoiler was added. I don’t have a spoiler on mine and it looks better without it. The C4 was the last Corvette I had before the C8 and the exhaust was outboard on the C4 just like the C8. They could have put them in the middle because that where the muffler is but they just didn’t to make the performance exhaust to fit on the corners better!
You get it for 60 grand by not buying all those pricey options you don’t need to have a really great Sports Car! Elkhart Lake was the Race Course like Le Mans before they built Road America. They use to race on local roads!
Heck yeah that's a bargain looks just like a Ferrari mixed with a Corvette if I wasn't in a apartment I'd definitely get it can't get it now because I don't have a garage to park it in my 2016 mustang GT when I first got it was hell in the winter months until I put on some winter only tires made driving it better on the snow and ice
Fully agree about the rear end being too busy and having too many contrasting shapes. The wheel design is also too busy for my liking. Other than that it's great. Still want a manual transmission option though. A manual option would have me looking at ways to get a C8

If you compare this to Ferrari Lamborghini Ford GT Dodge Viper any of the above they are all over priced when you realize how great the C8 is .

They might get uncomfortable for that long a trip, but on a daily basis, they’re plenty comfy
