For me the main reason I'm getting bootmod3 is to turn off the cold start and totally get rid of the burbles.
Haha very true, I keep it tame on cold starts and in the neighborhood 😎. Me and the neighbors have a great relationship lol
With your exhaust set up, think the competition setting sounds best, IMO. I'm running with burbles set at 4.5 aggression and 4 duration in Sport Plus. Sport mode is zeroed out. Like the sound of both. Great video as always!

Last one not bad. If you set minimum and 5k RPM minimum its a great tailgater blast. Not sure if a difference between MHD and BM3 burbles. I still prefer no burbles in the end.
The max part is hard to even watch man I'd be embarrassed driving that around haha. Honestly those default zcp settings were nice

I think i prefer the last one id just make it last a tiny bit longer instead of just one pop I’ll make it do 3 at like 5000 rpms maybe but it’s crazy how customizable these f8x are i love it

What do you have flashed at the beginning of the video? is that your Sport+ settings with 0.1 duration and 0.0 aggression?

If you wanna wake the car up a little more bro and have some fun with burbles - definitely man! Stage 1 from stock tune was the biggest noticeable difference for sure 👌🏽💯

I am sending my ecu to Femto for my 2022 m340i and I want to get the 2020 model sound. They have the same exhaust but they sound totally different because of how BMW mapped it…

Thanks for the demo of different setups! I just got my bootmod3 for my F83 M4 2015 and i just understood the whole duration and aggression and differences. I am gonna do the OTS and maybe change the duration to 1 and aggression to 5-6 but Inhave heard that if i dont have the competition model m4 it wont work? Is that correct? Whats the difference between the regular M4 and a CS M4?
The burbles will just be different but they have new settings now for each model. The cs came with burbles, the regular m4 did not when it comes to this topic
What difference between sport and sport plus
i bought my car with a stage 2 bootmod3 tune and i wanted to change the burble settings if i just buy the cables to connect will it work ?
If you didn’t flash the tune yourself, you won’t be able to revise the burbles or map unless they gave you the login or transferred the account to your email
Experimenting with Bootmod3 is super fun. Especially when it’s new. I settled on 1.2 aggression and 1.2 duration. It gives it a nice gargle but not too flamboyant. Loving the content. Cheers from California. Peace!!!

Burbles are definitely not good if you do them all the time. Affects wastegate and turbo/turbo seals if done too much and probably other stuff too 😂

The bmw dme’s can only flash so much before being burnt out. Cost about 2 grand from dealer for a new one(can save warranty even when tuned with this too if u blow an engine), told from my mechanic at my local dealership

That **TOO MUCH BEFORE BEING BURNT OUT is BS** The DME can easily be flashed around 2,220 to 2,500 times before seeing any type of issue! Ask a shop that owns any F8X and used the car for parts development!
@@SOMNIOHM These F and G chassis have great DME's that allow them to be flashed a lot more than you think. You will never reach that threshold. For the E chassis owners especially on the older DMEs 2008-2009 if im not mistaken will reach that DME error at like 10 flashes got to be very careful. But flash all you want.

You’ll need to flash at least stage 0 so you’ll need the tune for burbles & yes you can flash on stock

The dealership will be able to see if the DME has been tuned so I wouldn’t if you still have warranty - unless you’re cool with them

Hi I have a bmw m3 f80 with stage 2 map with high flow downpipes and I have it set so burbles are just right for me. What I have noticed watching some videos is that some of them have a burble when changing gear similar to the Audi rs3/6 which I personally like. Is there a special setting for that? Any info from anyone would be much appreciated. Great video too and your car looks fantastic. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you man! The blurp that our cars make on upshift only happens sometimes under wide open throttle for me, I do hear it sometimes when the car is just warmed up, but only a few gears. There should be a setting for that tho lol

The Audi’s sound amazing and I have quite a few round where I live in Blackpool England. Saying that mine does sound amazing when in m1 mode due to the front pipes. All the best mate.
@@sgbattersby8987hi mate, you can get that upshift “dsg” style on the m3 with a gearbox map, the faster gear changes will give that sound
