Speaking as a wife of almost 40 years, a wife asking if you have everything you need for the trip is a way of showing love and care. I think he took it in a different way than Sadie meant it. She cared enough to ask if he had everything he needed to be able to stay warm because she cares about his well-being. He took it as she didn't believe in him but she meant it as a loving gesture.
He got offended for no reason to be honest and I have also reacted like he did in the past. This is something he will have to unlearn and with God's grace can be overcome for the betterment of the marriage.
Remember he's like 25, that definitely plays a factor! No offense to the young men, just something that cools off with age :)
My husband travels a lot and thankfully he's happy when I ask. He told me it makes him feel loved. I tell my kids when I ask them stuff it is almost always bc it is a reflection of mistakes I have made, not what I expect them to do. ❤
Facts
I love that at the end they addressed the friend part when you have a marriage. I’m single but have some married friends and even I know that your wife or husband should always come first period, and that your time with your friends has a limit. It’s not to be mean, it’s just reality that your wife or husband now take priority in your life. I applaud them for that for brining that up. Thank you Sadie and Christian 🥰🥰

Sadie, Christians love and attitude language could be throwing you off? My relationship is the same way. It's helpful that you're attentive to his needs. A guy like Christian needs affirmation. He's much more confident and intuitive than he portrays. He will build confidence at his own pace when you let him be. Less is more. When you trust the process, it translates to him that he can quietly build confidence at his pace.

I feel sorry for sadie, it is so immature acting especially when you have to take care of children and dealing with what feels like thir child. Christian - can you please listen to your wife with ears who want to hear what she says? Even this conversation shows you seem more interested in what you have to say in response to her rather than in truly listening to her heart which she is doing her best to convey if you would simply be quiet.
I see Sweet Sadie doing most of the talking. And this gentleman taking in everything she's saying. You need not to want the man to be silent let him talk. To get A man to talk is amazing. And this man likes to talk. Sadie still talks more than he does. So don't be putting things on these young folks.

Exactly. i'm more intrigued when it's a regular person talking about budgeting, specially knowing they is no one there to back you up if you dnt have enough for your rent. this rich kids have mom and dad, even grandparents money to back them up. it's just not the same!! 🙄

I thought it was just me. In todays economy money is tight for most. Some months we don’t have enough groceries because the electric bill was extra high. Hard to listen to money advice from rich people my age. She clearly had no clue what her mom was saying about groceries because she’s never had to worry if they had enough to pay the bills. Good for her to be young and wealth but most in this country are strugglinggggg and didn’t get handed everything.
