@@CookingWithTheCajun just got ten mirlitons from Winn-Dixie. Deciding weather to do them like that or the casserole 😁. God bless you and yours as well my friend🙏 !!!
@@CookingWithTheCajun yes I have three tubs of Rouses grated Ramono cheese. I mix it in my artichoke heart casserole as well😋 I will probably blend alittle parnassian cheese in with the Ramono to make a mixture.
I'm sure this is a gastronomical delight; however, prep is a lot on the slow side. Maybe cut up the shrimp first instead of tediously scissoring them? This could move faster. If you're cooking for the first time, like EVER, okay. . .but more seasoned cooks don't have time to waste. Work smarter not harder. Otherwise it looks like a great dish. Happy Thanksgiving!😂

Also look up Chayote, it's the same as Mirliton.
You did good Lloyd!!

Stuffed mirlitons, also known as chayotes. Good substitute for potatoes, if you are on low carb diet. Pretty easy to grow your own too.
yes they are, thanks for the comment.
Why you didn't use ground or turkey meat with it
we always use seafood, mostly shrimp.
Do you have a link to the “control freak” you are using?
here ya go www.breville.com/us/en/products/commercial/cmc850.html
Once cooked, the seeds are completely edible and can be added to salads, etc.
That's right and did you know the entire plant is edible. Happy Thanksgiving. Thanks for the comment.
