Ok she's annoying anx her character isnt a character Captian Marvel doesnt have a personality and if she does one its just that she makes quips all the time she's just an annoying character
I find carol is alot like tony but i don’t understand why everyone hates her I agree yes Black widow should have gotten her own movie first but that doesnt the right to hate capt marvel
i still found extremely weird how a lot of complains about how she got her own solo right before lots of other beloved heroines and yet, when they saw ant man solo out of nowhere no body said ''not fair where is nick fury, hawkeye, war machine, falcon and vision solo movies'' most of the haters complaining about how CM make things about women but they actually create this problem all by themselves. CM was just another mcu movie that mind it's own business
@@barisbal7782 War Machine, Falcon, and Vision are more side characters. People HAVE been asking movies for Nick Fury and Hawkeye, if you pay attention. Ant-Man is a popular hero, and was one of the original Avengers back in the day, so of course he'll get a movie.
@@DarkKnight-by7ql that's in the past. @@DarkKnight-by7ql She only shows her emotions to the people she's the closest to, Fury and Maria and Monica Rambeau for example... also in endgame, the very few scenes she's in are pretty serious which is why she keeps that serious "emotionless" face. @@DarkKnight-by7ql because rocket is literally a whole different character than carol is... it wouldn't fit rocket to have carol's personality or act like carol. @@DarkKnight-by7ql aura and vibe are the same... that aside, people cope or deal with these things differently and at different paces, my man... and who knows, maybe she's gone through a lot of fucked up shit behind the scenes, in the duration that she was gone for a long time... she's practically a galaxy police.
I'm sad I didn't love this movie the first time from negative fan hate. After rewatching it twice, I surprisingly love it even more. It's underrated. And now I really like her character even more. She's adorable and badass. As for the actress hate, I see myself since the start that it's delusional misunderstood fake hate from fans who take her dry humor sarcasm too seriously. @@cyber1ifeconnor Wow. You went to all the trouble of replying to a nine month dead comment just to be butthurt and the best you could do was fail at basic spelling.
Why are you asking that, rather than commenting on the actual content? Oo Also, it's not weird to like any movie more than another, regardless of genre, content or whatever, it's called PERSONAL TASTE.. It's (drum-roll) INDIVIDUAL..
Honestly she’s not my favorite but she’s still fine. At least no worse than Benedict in Doctor Strange(let’s be honest he’s had more iconic rolls in other projects)
I thought her arc development was fine; from a stoic, brainwashed, (unknowingly) terrorist, with others making her believe they control her power, with just flickers of her former self, to taking the major leap to controlling her own destiny/power, seeing through the lies of the Kree, helping her former enemies, getting her memories back, and her full personality if that makes sense. She grew a lot over the course of the movie, she was never perfect, not even in the end, people complain that she was ‘perfect’ in Endgame, well, if she was, that makes sense, she fought battles/had her powers from before 1995 all the way to 2023 (almost 30 years worth of ‘perfecting’ her powers) The hate for the film/character appears to come from fragile white men, at least from what I’ve seen/read, regardless, the film still made over 1 billion 👏🏻
Carol's development starts through the mutants and xmen so all of that was skipped because there are no mutants here. It's the same with wanda. Carol only became binary because a mutant Rogue stole basically her whole life (since shes already binary, the arc of rogue stealing her powers wont work). Most of her issues were more skrull and Kree related and all. Honestly if you ask me we needed 2 movie from her. 1 movie wouldve started based on Mar-vell then shifted to Carol and the middle and how she becomes Binary. The second movie would be this one. Honestly a lot of people complain and say the movie was boring because they did a montage on her past, but that's ok cause if you look at the other characters we've never actually seen how they grew up and became the person they are today like Carol. Captian marvel didnt just deliver another superhero who wants to save people and has all the tech and skills. It showed us her character, how she grew up. She was obviously very weak and not easily accepted but she never gave up and always stood up to do what she wants to do (not because shes proving it to someone). Even becoming a pilot at her time wasnt easy but she still fought for what she wanted (she was doing it for herself not because she was trying to prove that drill instructor who told her "they'd never let her fly" wrong). When marvel said she was the strongest, they weren't just talking powers but also mentally. Shes also been through a lot in just these 2 movies. She saw someone she most admired get shot at right in front of her. She came back to earth 25 years later, fury is gone, Maria died of cancer, Monica is gone too and those were the only people she knew before leaving earth. It's why she cut her hair. She prolly ended up finding Maria in hospital and supported her cancer. Also the mcu avoids the character so much because end game wasnt about her but rather the first 6. They didnt really have to make things about her but they could've involved her. Like instead of going back in time and tony meeting his dad, why not go with her back in time to a different time where we get a scene between Mar-vell and Robert and how they tesseract was taken by her cause nobody knows how Marvell got it in the first place. Also it wouldve been emotional for Carol to see her again as she is the person she most admired plus shes been carrying out her job for 30 years (since she blew that engine). But marvel doesn't want to give her character development, they just bring her in to smash things. Also in the end of the movie when we see people part their ways, we dont even get a scene showing us if Carol left earth of stayed. Not even a scene of her talking to fury at the funeral tell him where shes been the whole time. My theory as to why Carol was gone for so long was because she reignited a star. In the comics she did it twice cause there was a time she had to reignite the sun and she basically died and came back 30 years later. But before she reignited the sun she mentioned that shes done it before so this can be a really good explanation for why shes been gone for so long also why she hasn't aged. Marvel avoids this type of thinking and it's sad. I mean they threw her into space for 25 years yet shes never even left a footprint in space the GOTF and Thor would interact with? That's crazy but then my theory of her reigniting a star would be correct then cause how would she leave a footprint if shes dead or completely drained of energy
They really should have kept the scene where that biker who tells her to smile (like those real life d#cks who did the same) nearly gets his arm broken by her. That would have been glorious.
The character and movie were rather meh but Brie Larson was clearly the one carrying the character with her acting skills, and seeing other stuff she did, that probably didn’t take as much effort as she needed for some of her more complicated roles. Kudos. I hope her sequel is better and helps her show what she can really do.
tony is one of my favorite characters so it was inevitable that carol would become a favorite too
