In 2016 what was once a vibrant night life has now become wasteland. This is Premier Mike Baird's Sydney.

It's sad to see Sydney becoming a favoured place for Mrs Mangel and friends. London is an example of a city that has a department dedicated to its night time economy. The night time economy supports 1 in 8 jobs in London. So it is in the financial interest of the government to invest in public transport, policing, town planning, appropriate licensing laws etc.
Kings Cross / Oxford St was a world famous night spot that has effectively been killed. Australia's in terminational city, a place where you can't buy a bottle of wine after 10pm. But of course the Casino is doing better than ever and you can drink till you vomit every night of the week there.

The original clip seems to have been filmed on Mardi Gras night. Would explain the crowds. Then look at 1:24 - roads in out of cross. See any cars?
rjbiker66 back in the 80-90s every weekends in the cross was full of people
Take me back to old school any day or night
There was money always to be made
It was the place to be
Now it is all residential and realestate wow it just goes to show you in 2019 it is not money motivated for the public
Only money motivated for big realestate investors
