JICA Satellite Session 6 in HSR2024: Effective collaboration for successful health financing reform

HSR2024, the 8th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research was held from November 18 to 22, 2024, in Nagasaki, Japan.The title of this session was “How to foster effective collaboration through multi-stakeholder policy dialogue for successful health financing reform: Experience sharing towards just and sustainable universal health coverage (UHC).”
This session drew on real-world experiences and empirical research to share actionable insights on enhancing collaborative endeavors for successful health financing reform. Policymakers from three countries, Senegal, Kenya, and Egypt and Japanese researchers discussed health insurance, digital transformation, and external budget support.
