Wow I felt like I listened to the creator with my heart and follower the right path. I always do my best to be humble. I always give everything I have in me. I take time to really research as much as I can and ask the right questions to my best friend and in a way father figure who is a medicine man of the rosebud res. I give without expecting anything. I try to be honest with myself and others. I try and listen. I felt the Creator hold me, and I cried uncontrollably, I could not understand it. Then I keep seeing comments and and articles on how no matter what I do. I will never be good enough, pure enough, humble enough, or honest enough with my self or anyone else to ever really follow this path that I was put on. I guess I should tell all the people who love me that I have known since I was a boy that I can't come to the sweat and pray because I am a white man.

In my tradition, we like to say "The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
This man seems to have an authentic desire to serve. That's a really admirable thing.

I personally see nothing wrong with someone integrating themselves into another culture if that's what they love and have a longing for, but is there a new trend I missed the bus on? I'm seeing more videos on YT of whites portraying themselves as natives building sweat lodges than I do natives building them. I'm curious though to know where / how he came up with the name Four Winds Rising or if it was honored to him by the tribe.

as far as I can tell these guys are white natives. there are plenty of us mixed folks nowadays, and many of us that uphold the old ways.

What gets me is some people think they can insert themselves into someone else's culture. Then call themselves native American. They just don't know how dumb they look..

So many things he's doing wrong. That song had no words at all.. Just chants. The damn Chants were even wrong. Heya heyo?? That's not even how we sing!! And the hell is Enipii? to breathe?? What the hell is that? Something u made up?? And Sage tea?! U kidding me?!?! Doorway is wrong, using a lighter wrong, using newspaper and magazines wrong! The grandfathers he is using are wrong.. Sand rocks explode and are not good for sweatlodge.. Man Im not even get tell him what else to change. Because he doesn't deserve it, by already abusing our ways like this. When we do these things it's an honour and privilege that is passed down from our ancestors. Our gifts and tools are given and passed down. Not purchased and obtained. This pisses me off so much!!

I agree he's doing things different but who are you to say he's wrong. I never heard him say he invites other people or uses to it heal anyone. if its just for him and his family to go in and sweat than fine

@@p.hoksila3945 - No, No, No.. and NOPE... I am very sorry man, but I just can't see it. Because if he TRULLY respected our traditional way of life... And if he was TRULLY taught by a REAL Teacher, he would know better to NOT be sharing this stuff on the damn "Internet"!... Because we all know the Internet is a 'Dark and Sick Place', and when those Evil Prowlers come lurking, if they were to stumble upon this type of video, they would easily "try" to replicate it, and then use it for bad.. This is 'abusing" our way of life, (PERIOD).
Another thing is if others around this man actually respected him he wouldn't even need the Internet to spread the good ways. They say that once you reach a high status & ranking of 'Respected Elder' or 'Medicine Man', all of our Spirit Helpers would spread the word for you.. Not the damn Internet! And ALSO, any type of Camera's around 'LIVE' Ceremonies are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN! Everybody knows that!! Even kids know that!! Look like he was about to "TRY" and Conduct a 'LIVE' Sweatlodge to me. And if he was taught CORRECTLY, he would of known not to bring that shit around it! And Again I am sorry, but this guy is a fuckin JOKE!!!

Us Lakota people speak through our eyes our ways of life are a gift from our creator these ways of life are not for people who are trying to adopt our ways these are passed down through our ancestors and our ceremonies are not for public these are to be respected as any other religion and can't be coppied you should pray and do your own culture.

@@jayscroggins.thunderboy3064 so you are saying you and I have a different creator because of the color of my skin or the family I was born into. Are not all one people ? To respect and revere one’s way of life is important. However, one man can not tell another which way his life must be conducted. If this man is truly an imposter it’s not our place to judge him. Your ways are your sacred traditions. But please don’t insinuate that we have different creators because of something as petty as family or skin color it simply is not true
