I saw the Hindi song.. and I must say it is much better in Kannada because of many aspects other than that I am a Kannadiga. For one the orchestration is second to none. I don't think the best of modern music directors would be able to replicate this genius of an orchestration. The legendary GK Venkatesh pulled off a masterpiece with this one. But the most appealing factor about the song for me is the guitar work in the entire movie by none other than the great Ilaya Raja.

The orchestration was arranged by none other than one of the legendary musician L Vaidyanathan. GKV and LV combination gave several hit songs in kannada. Sad that L Vaidyanthan remained in hind sight and never got the fame he deserved through out his life except a short duration for Malgudy Days.
