Annelise Guest House

Our guesthouse is named Svala Guesthouse, located in Brenton on Lake. You can check on Bookings.com to see exactly what it looks like. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, and a TV area. There is a shared laundry room with a washing machine and a freezer in the main house. There is no load shedding or power cuts except for the stove. There is a gas stove and a barbecue on the spacious porch that overlooks a large garden and the Knysna Lake providing breath taking views.
The interior is truly beautiful and of high quality, reflecting the owners' extensive overseas travels. There is also an outdoor dining area and a lounge on the porch. Amenities include DSTV, Netflix, WIFI, a sound bar, water, electricity, electric blankets, as well as air conditioning and heating. Weekly gardening services are included, as well as hairdryers. There is a double parking space. The area is rich in birdlife, including The Knysna Loerie and bushbuck. Cleaning services are available at R300 per day on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
There are two Blue Flag beaches within 8 and 3 km. (Please bring your own swimming towels). A shop is within 3 km, and there are several restaurants in the area. We have a pharmacy in town that delivers medication. Small dogs are welcome if arranged with the owners. Short-term self-catering and long-term bookings require full payment 14 days before arrival. Immediate deposits are required for both long-term and short-term bookings to secure reservations. Check-in is until 6:00 PM, and check-out is at 10:00 AM.
