Much appreciated Chap. I came to Cambodia 20 years ago to retired early coz I couldn't afford to retire in Australia with the exponentially high cost living basic standard . Cambodia has given me an opportunity to lived in an environment of financial stress free. I'm learned to invest at a young age, that is buy cheap & sell high, so I can retain my wealth and live comfortably. Back in those years, most people think I was delusional and why would I walk out a 6 figure contract. My believe is that life is about experience and most of us didn't come here to be a slave.
Thanks very much Chap. Please continue to broadcast with your contents for those like-minded people. Most collective have been indoctrinated at the early age by study hard, work your rear end off and retire at the official age by laws. This does not sound logic.
Wow you gave so many helpful advices about cost of living and much more, which really help me wanted to retire now and move to Cambodia. I currently live in Canada and have family to take care of, hopefully some day I will be in Cambodia like you brother
Good information to share it to the budget travelers. Budgeting our financial requires discipline and commitment. There's a saying "If we could save between a dime to a quarter every dollar we make, we can retire early and comfortably". Invest to our retirement accounts as soon as we work and pay off our mortgage as early as possible to achieve our financial freedom. Again, life is short to do the things we don't love doing but life is very precious. No matter how much we make, we will never have enough as we came to this world with nothing and we're leaving it with nothing. Sharing is caring. Peace out✌️
Tachap, good video and thanks for sharing your experience and retiring in Cambodia. How is it going so far, and are you feeling relaxed and less stress than in the US? Is the weather as hot and humid as they say? I'm planning to retire early in 3-5 years and plan to start my retirement in Cambodia, why did you choose Siem Reap vs. Phnom Penh?
I choice Siem Reap for my retirement because Angkor Wat, people, slow pace, managed to stay cool, relaxed, not much stress and living life free from hamsters wheels. Hope to see you soon 🎉🎉🎉
I like your video. I am working in the U.S. Embassy in Phnom Penh and I can apply for the special immigrant visa, but I think I will not go. Too old to go. I will work till I retire in 5 years and then move to Siem Reap like you. What do you think?
Good morning, Can you check out the local stores and show us prices of eggs, chips, chicken, drinks, etc. Lucky store, smile, 7-11, aeon etc. Thank you!
🙏 How much does the studios rent for in the complex ''where you live'' ? (PLEASE) Your rent is $250 and that is very good price. I am alone and don't need all that space for just me. A nice furnished studio would be good. -?- Thank you ! 👍🙏✌
Alternatively, you could go around and browse those residential room for lease. Base prices start at $30/month & above, depends on your location, proximity & inclusive ie: air con, fully furnished, etc ...
Much appreciated Chap.

Thank you for watching! 🎉
I was wondering if you had a video about what you did for living in America. Great video keep up
I will think about it! 🎉
Putting a coffee in a plastic cup in a plastic bag is totally pointless.. waste of plastic.. some of these countries need more awareness about plastic
Agreed 🎉
