Still have a lot of fruits around this time of year?
Yes! Stung Treng is known for its fruits! 🥭🍍🍉
❤❤❤❤
Thanks again
Hello, Tacha ! You are a good man. Please, Rejoice and have fun for your Retirement with your wife for years to come to enjoying. Thanks for your Video to watch about Cambodia.
Thanks for your kind words!🎉🎉
I also like to share from my personal experience as I learned from my grandparents since my boyhood. I practice meditation 2 to 3 times a day no matter what even when I had to live through during genocide. It really helps to clear my mind to a different stage. Respect goes both ways. Be open minded and be kind whenever possible. It's always possible. Sharing is caring as life is short to do the things we don't love doing but life is very precious. Peace and happiness to everyone 🎉 ✌️
I'm glad you share your experience, thank you! 🎉
That is my amazon coffee shop in Siemreap. That is only a best Amazon coffee shop along Hwy 6 in Siemreap.
I love coffee! Thanks for sharing.🎉
Appreciate your message Pu
Thanks for watching 🎉
I watch another RUclips channel name Urban Survivor Guy he can speak English very good but not so good in Cambodia but you both Khmer and English are fluent.
I'm not that fluent but okay at it. Thank you though.
Cambodia is my place I used to live it seems like a lot of people but I feel deference because I had been away from Cambodia for so long.
Do you still like to visit your birth place? I understand when you're away for so long you might feel disconnected from it. But I still have my mother and siblings here so I feel closer to this place. I appreciate you watching the videos.
I may well see you around town in Siem Reap around June/July when I get there for retirement. I may even get to see some of the other RUclips teachers teaching us about Cambodia. From just watching these channels I decided that the Capital was too crowded and busy for me and I first thought I would end up in Thailand from the videos on Southeast Asia. I can always take the bus to to the Capital or fly to Thailand after I get my extended visa a few weeks later. I have already started to give away and sell much of my stuff and started on liquidating my assets so it is too late now, a very good thing when it comes to me.
I will be sure to say hello if we cross paths
Make sure you get the taste of ត្រីប៉ាសុីអុី before coming back to seim reap my man, ត្រីប៉ាសុីអុី is well known to Stung Treng province

This province is fascinating. I would recommend that both you & your wife to try out those unique fish only can be found in Stung Treng. It's called Bassiee fish & it's also currently in season between November & January. Price starts at $20/kg or $100/kg for a larger fish. It tastes like lobster that cook in soup with lemon grass, ginger, kaffir leaves + lime. Another fish called 2 faces, tast awesome when pan fry or grilled on charcoal. Enjoy your staying.
Thanks for the great recommendations. We'll have to try those fish!😊😊
I love fruits

i forgot to mention, make sure you friend has fire fighting equipment, as Eucalyptus trees are massive fire hazards because of the high oil content, they literately explode in huge bushfires. A recent fire (last month) in the Grampians Australia burnt out 76,000 hectares of bushland/forest, all eucalyptus forest. It was unstoppable.
Thank you for the important information, I'll keep that in mind.

I’m not sure
Do you think it would be more expensive for white Americans than you? Meaning, will they try to charge me more than you?
Depend on your lifestyle, and you have to bargain but most of Khmer they are straightforward
Australian Blue Gum trees ( Eucalyptus globulus) there are several specie of E.G, the main ones being the "Tasmanian and Victorian" species. I hope your farmer friend can extract oil from the leaves which are steam distilled to extract eucalyptus oil. E. globulus is the primary source of global eucalyptus oil production. The oil has therapeutic, perfumery, flavoring, antimicrobial and biopesticide properties. China is the largest commercial producer of Eucalyptus oil.(Wikipedia). Your friend should look at making/distilling his own oil. It makes great chest rub and clears the Sinus's Smells great. He could mix other essential oils to produce aromatherapy candles or oil diffuser's etc etc
They don’t have technology to deal with that yet
Thanks 🎉

Malaysia speaks English for Americans comfort. Thailand & Vietnam - not so much. Philippines is very popular with many Americans & English is spoken everywhere. -- Cambodia is also a very good choice. For a retirement visa it is my favorite - in Siem Reap especially - because of the people the food choices and the low cost of living !
Very well 🎉🎉
I am very glad to come across your RUclips channel. I visited Srok Khmer a few times since l left 1984. Unsue about safety at times, but in all the visits were pleasant. I am 57 years old and think about retirement early, too. Don't have a big saving, but no debt. How much is average spending monthly do I need to live comfortably? Any estimate? How about any good chance to meet a nice/ loyal companion? I don't feel comfortable to live there alone. I left Cambodia for so long and feel like I am a foreigner to the country😊
Average $950-$1200 a month depending on your lifestyle. Best way come to live here for couple months before moving.
❤❤❤❤
Thanks again 🎉🎉happy new year 🎉🎉
