Thank you! I thought I was the only one that thought using split rings was much better and more secure than using jump rings.

I meant to order jump rings and I ordered split rings by accident. Luckily I have been interchanging my own keychains for years, (wish I had one of those tools though!!) so when you started showing how to use them I was like "oh of course that makes sense!"

Thank you! Sometimes I have put double jump rings on to hold charms but this looks a lot better and is more secure!
You explained it very well and I appreciate it❤

I use split rings mostly. I feel they're more secure. Love wire protectors too.

Another fantastic use for them is with magnetic clasps because if the magnetic clasps K hot, it's no longer magnetic. Yup, I learned that the hard way. Lol...Thanks for sharing your! New sub....

I love that idea. It always concerned me when I first started making jewelry that someone's bracelet or necklace would fall apart from the jump rings.

Jump rings are a common breaking point. Split rings can work wonders to help with security. Have your tried using them yet?

I use split rings because jump rings always caused clasps to fall off

I also think split rings are safer to use. I would like a Saguaro catus scene like your charm

Does anyone know if Kat still makes videos or does she have a new channel, and does she respond to comments? I am searching for a video that featured her using a tool, I think it might be called a third hand or helping hand. I have searched and searched and can't find it. If anyone has the link, can you PLEASE share it. Thanks.
