Imho it's really good to pick Clove as second controller when you have Omen. This way you can freely lurk as an Omen or play really aggressive as either agent and still have the rechargeable smokes if one of them (or even both) dies. I have seen the attempt to do that in C9 vs NRG game on Sunset. Doing that with other controllers don't give so much freedom, because Brim/Astra don't have rechargeable smokes and Harbor/Viper smokes can't be used in place of Omen smokes most of the time
@@dev189 Mhmm its situational astra's ult isn't inherently better than Clove's other than the fact that it can be used for a site exec. Also clove can play easier off her own timings with their metal than astra can with her stun or pull. Clove is definitely a better secondary controller than astra especially since her smokes refresh and she can smoke while dead.
@dev189 I think we gotta give it time for teams to really figure out Clove's value and the comps. Kinda like Yoru everyone just wrote him off early but as a few teams started using him and figuring out how to use him in what scenario best now we see him used on multiple maps and comps in the vct
Man, 2 13-11 score lines are really sad for TS, even tho i like Talon, i think it is way more fun to support an all Filipino team instead of the guys that signed a ranked demon as a clutch, sadly, ts normally fumbles in the final hurdle and so, now i can only wish for them to have an even better run next year.
how did talon make champs if the 4th place is based on champions points secret has 7 and talon has 4... ik the 3 teams are locked with geng prx and drx but how is talon through, does this mean if for example in eu navi beat vitality and fnatic beat kc theyre the 4 teams that go to champs which is navi fnatic fut and th?

The point is astra is a way better second controller pick than clove especially her ult got way more value

Im pretty sure only 1 team can go to champs with points and TLN won this game and that means they qualified
