A Legend of Zelda Ride is Coming to Universal Orlando!! | Finding the NEW Slow Season at the Parks

- In today's video from the Universal Orlando Resort I stop by and visit both theme parks for some construction updates because over at Minions Cafe some of the scrim has been removed and we can now get our first look at what the front facade looks like. I also look at the new Toothless popcorn bucket that’s currently being sold at Universal Orlando. Next, I make a stop at Central Park Crepes to try the new street corn crepe which was delicious! After that I start to make my way over to Islands of Adventure for some more updates plus I have a few new rumors to talk about at this park including a possible Zelda themed land.I also take you around the park to check out the low waits and the crowd level because it's been surprising not that busy at the parks lately. Popeye's is probably my favorite water ride ever. There is just something special about sitting around that round boat and getting to know and get drowned with other families. I love it!

Toon Lagoon has the best flume ride and best rapids I’ve been on. Keep them. I’d keep Toon Lagoon and add a dark ride that brings comic strips to life. Those comic strips aren’t relevant to younger guests but the right attraction can make them relevant.

My mom and I just visited universal we had a great time on our trip I’m so excited for villain con minion blast and I’m very glad I got to experience Poseidon’s fury before it closes forever a new Zelda land that would be awesome and I love tune lagoon I would hate to see it go if they decide to get rid of it and put something else. Keep the updates coming dev I can’t wait to go back to Universal in December with my best friend

I’ve visited Universal parks about 3 times on vacation with my family (from out of state) around this week before and I definitely agree it’s the perfect time of year to visit without having to get express passes or to stay at a premiere resort to get free unlimited passes. We stayed at Cabana Bay Beach Resort those 3 times and saved money. Each time, we had low wait times and it was nice. We have also visited in August and September (for HHN) before.
I hope they do build Zelda and hope they also consider adding Lord of the Rings and Hobbit at some point. Though I do know they’re more so leaning towards their own properties for monetary reasons and I know they have a great partnership with Nintendo. I can’t wait for Epic Universe and plan to visit their Frisco, TX park when it opens because my sister lives there. I hope great hope and excitement for Universal’s future!
If Zelda comes that would be AWESOME! They really shouldn't get rid of that Poseidon area it's so cool!
Another great update video, I really hope Universal will focus on some new attractions in the current parks once Epic Universe is complete. There’s really no need for the empty theater/stadiums to be taking up the space that can be used for something else. Thanks for the updates!
Qs much as i would love the new mythos land to be legend of zelda, It might not be, But that doesnt mean we can loose hope that it could, now that posidens fury is out of the way there are a lots of New land idead that Creative will do so i will say hopfully lets leave it up to Universal To decide but still Zelda wouldnt be a bad idea!

All I know is with the closing of Poseidon's Fury and Universal's potential acquisition of Warner Brothers next year, they really need to secure the rights to LOTR and turn Lost Continent into Middle Earth.

FYI. I know the wayer is expensive. I take a collapsible cup and get water for free at the freestyle machines😁. Or refill a water bottle. A lot of people do this.

Toon Lagoon has to be updated to maybe Sponge Bob area? seems like it would easily fit with the water based rides? what do you think?
SpongeBob lives under the sea. It wouldn't make sense to have an open air Spongebob area on "dry land". It would need to be enclosed in a building and themed to look "underwater" similar to Mermaid Lagoon at Tokyo Disneysea.

I think Toon Lagoon is the hardest to re-theme or replace. They must keep the water rides. Viacom owns SpongeBob and there is already a deal in place for IP so do you retheme to Bikini Bottom? It is really odd that the Storepants store is all alone next to the KidsZone. But there are so many attractions using this IP elsewhere in the US and globally. Maybe expand Skull Island into a full land with Hollow Earth elements & re-theme Dudleys and Popeye. I could see a fully immersive Skull Island Escape from Hollow Earth ride.
I also had that idea.
I assume this ties in with the fact Universal have their partnership with Nintendo and they are looking to set up Nintendo pictures studio as they are going to be building a Nintendo cinematic universe, so makes to get a new ride experience in for Zelda as there will be a Zelda film down the pipeline coming. Disney best start getting some good will back soon or this free fall they are in they won't recover from, especially when it comes to the parks.

1:25 yeah, that day was crazy. Only in Florida can you get sunburnt AND drenched from rain in the same day. Nay, within hours of each other.

about the water, you could get the refillable freestyle cup which you can get water and fountain drinks. I did the same mistake and ended up either skipping water or paying the high prices.
You can save $5.50 by bringing your own bottle and filling it with free water from the Freestyle Machines.
I want that Toothless bucket so bad!!❤ it is just so adorable and I love those movies, but don’t think it’ll be available when we go in the fall 😕 . I hope they make a Dino bucket similar to this one

Definitely worth dining on international drive, bahama breeze, miller's, BJs, etc are reasonable prices, size wise meals are good value for money and delicious!

Poseidon fury will closed just like splash Mountain at magic replace by The Legend of Zelda ride Silmar to Peter Pan's Flight and Navi River Jounary at magic Kingdom and Anmial Kingdom

Most of the rides have a modified seat for those that cannot fit on the basic seat! My mom can ride everything at universal except velocicoaster and she had the same issue of not being able to fit on anything before they started doing that!

In no universe will Zelda be coming to poseidons old area, people are pulling this straight from their asses. There are so many Universal IPs it could be. Most likely though it will be an extension of harry potter world. Zelda has a .00005/100 chance.

Great Video!! Fitting all body types shouldn’t be an issue. It’s all about generalities. Universal is not going to care about people that are statistically insignificant to their business.
Honestly I wish they would just expand Harry Potter instead of inserting a random IP however I assume they want to use some of the same atmosphere to reduce cost.
