This unique bracelet version of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe dive watch wears much more compact than the tradition 5015 Fifty Fathoms from 2007. This model debuted at Baselworld 2013 and is designed to be more discrete and purposeful. The watch measures 43mm across the case and is only 13mm thick. It looks thicker than it actually is with the bezel. From lug to lug the watch measures 50mm. From the rigid outcropping of the lugs, the watch sizes up to a reasonable 52mm from lug to lug. The bracelet is designed to be more open and lighter than previous bracelets.
