I’m such a sucker for this stuff. I can’t tell u how much of this type of stuff I’ve bought because of the good and encouraging infomercial. I think my worst purchase was the damn “rotato”. A device that peels a potato in “less than 5 seconds” (yeah right). I can’t believe she’s not emphasizing how much better wooden utensils (in general) are when cooking. They don’t conduct heat (like metal), are way more environmentally friendly than plastic utensils (wood is natural and doesn’t take thousands of years to break down) and they don’t melt like plastic or leave harmful chemicals in your food like plastic.

Wood is also porous material and as such an ideal breeding ground for bacteria. Don't get me wrong, I love my wooden utensils, but one has to admit that they're hella unhygienic.

Need these made of silicone. Who wants to hand wash utensils? I do find the shape of this appealing, but washing is a pain and wood can’t be sterilized, really.
