Part 1: The Spooky House, Chapter 1
Hello Game Show Fans! Today we take you to a TV Game show hosted By Ike and Rita called The Challenge of the Reading Gladiators!
I think I just broke my nose running headfirst into my childhood.
These games are why I made straight As as a kid. they need to make games like this for middle school and high school students. Man this game brings back a whole bunch of memories.
I never thought about this, but these games definitely made me a better reader when I was a kid. Kids are like sponges, I am SO grateful that my parents could afford/cared enough to buy these for me. It didn't hurt that this particular Reading Blaster was clever. I loved playing it for the commercials and I don't think I'm alone.
This game is probably why I'm not illiterate.
"Get a Clue" was my FAVORITE game!
I JUST now got the joke on the names.
Ike and Rita Cuecard.
I can read a cuecard.
+spaceballs369 Ha! I never even noticed that! XD
This brings back So many memories of our Childhood
These games were so fun, I'd sit and watch my littles sister play them. I wish my kids could play them now.
Illitera; after all these years I FINALLY get the pun! XD
Hey, I played this game when I was at the youth computer learning lab and summer camp. Best Game Ever!!!!
I miss this game soo much....
I still have my certificate from 1999 when I first played it
OMG THE MEMORIES
I've been looking for this for years 😤
Thanks for posting this. It really brought back memories when I was kid. My sister and I would be on this for hours.
I remembered playing this game way back when I was a kid.
i would play this for hours and hours. the commercials were the best :D
I loved when Ike and Reada were like "Not,not, not, not, not, not" and also "too, too, too, too, too, too", I forgot how much I loved their comedy.
Those two always put a big grin on my face
GAAAAAWD I so remember this from 3rd grade!
Man this takes me back!
Yo i was searching this for years omg im gonna cry
What a great concept. Make the reward for winning, reading a book.
I remember playing this in school around 1999/2000. It was this and Math Blaster.
You're probably right. Ike's voice might have been done by Michael Gough. His voice can't fool me.
Such a great game
Ike sounds like the announcer for those Jimmy Neutron shorts.
Ah man, so many memories!
Holy crap, this is such a throwback.
Thanks for the upload.
At 8:34 enter panic mode
Johnny is the announcer I used to play this when I was younger
So many memories
Memories!!
Brings back memories.
Uh, you're welcome. Someone ought to call me voice actor recognition expert. Gough's voice for Spot sounds exactly like Tonka Joe with a high-pitched voice. Like I said, His voice can't fool me because in almost all his roles, he still sounds like Tonka Joe.
I remember this game
I miss this game 😭😭😭😭
Damn I miss this game...
Oh, the nostalgia! I remember that game very well! I wonder if there are different villains whenever the difficulty is raised?
Yep, Michael Gough did voice Tonka Joe!
Ok. In the demo section, what are the names of all the game demos? I can't remember any of their names, and I don't have my copy of this game anymore. I need help here.
JOHNNY IS THE ANNOUNCER
That's good and all, Ling, but what happens if you choose answer 1 in _The Spooky House?_
