I love your vlogs. Are all nurses the same with wearing the nurses cap when out because my daughter does and she is also an infection control nurse. All nurses are doing an amazing job. I am now getting excited about our cruise that we have got booked for May on Sky Princess.

Yes, another great video. I, too, am terrified of heights and on our last trip to London, we really wanted to go on the London Eye. When I saw it, it really gave me pause so I'm glad we pre-purchased our tickets because I probably wouldn't have had the nerve to go on it. So, I can appreciate your comments about the North Star.
Thanks! Sometimes the thought is worse, definitely true about the pre paid tickets, harder to back out then! I think because the capsule was enclosed it felt safe, it was a great experience and glad I done it!

We just returned from MSC Vertuosa last week. Your videos on this ship was a huge help before and reflecting back on the holiday when watching the videos again afterwards.
My wife is a nurse, and we really enjoyed the section on “infection control” in this video. It made me laugh, and I rushed to show her it. As she was very, very, VERY observant during our MSC cruise at their handling of this. It must be a natural nurse response.

Great video! Lunch looked delicious but it looked as if you were the only guests there.
Thanks Angela. The mdr was very quiet, due to reduced numbers but also talking to the waiters a lot of passengers go to the Windjammer buffet for lunch. We will definitely be having more lunches in the main dining room in the future as such a lovely experience!

Our first 2021 cruise is in just a few weeks. Woo-hoo! I've noticed that Paul wears a very nice vest on formal occasions without a jacket. That's such a great look and saves the hassle of bringing a jacket. I'm going to try to convince my husband to do the same.

Not used to Paul whispering so much! Ha! How comes it was so difficult to book iFly? It's something I will want to do for sure! "We're not big casino goers"! Ha! I think Iona and Scarlet Lady may have changed that just a little? :) Winner winners...
Lol you have got us into some very bad habits!! The app always showed fully booked for iFly You couldn't book it direct with a human.....so as soon as you get on do that and north star.
It won't take you long to put those lbs back on with all those chips😂😂.Only joking. We have seen "We will Rock you " in the west end and loved it.

We have just got off the Regal Princess cruising with Paul's Dad, showed how important it was to still have paper options as he doesn't have a smart phone 😀

Thanks for the feedback we have improved the balance of music and volume. We have done 5 other vlog series after this one so hopefully you will see the difference if you watch them. 😀
Great vlog-can't wait until 23rd September 2022 when we go on our cruise to the Canary Islands-we booked (with RC) VERY early and got a great price especially with a balcony!

Love your videos lots of great information. My wife, Linda and I are from the Boston area in eastern Massachusetts. We’ve been on only two cruises. One on our honeymoon in 1989 out of Florida to the western Caribbean and on the NCL gem to Bermuda out of Boston. We’re considering trying the transatlantic on the Queen Mary 2 out of Southampton. We’ve never been to the UK so we would like to arrive a few days before the cruise. Anything you suggest. Probably won’t be until 2024. That will be our 35th anniversary
Thanks so much! Sounds a great plan. If you did come to the UK would recommend a couple of nights in London then a couple in Southampton as that is a great city too. @@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel we too are on strict budgets. Linda works at a supermarket in town, Wegmans and I’m truck driver for the United States Postal Service.
Ok if you plan far enough ahead you can get some cheaper prices for the hotels and would always recommend booking free cancellation if you book them independently. However we now always book trips that include flight, hotel and cruises through a travel agent as a package so you are fully covered to get your money back should your circumstances change.

We show using the Solarium but not the Spa, unfortunately 4 days was not long enough!
@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel understand, thx. My hubby always uses the steam rooms on ships, he loves it. Some spas charge a fee for the whole length of cruise, a few cruise lines do not charge for steam rooms.

Me and my missus are thinking of a cruise next autumn for the first time. We are very fit and in our '50's and enjoy dressing up , and would like to avoid the holiday camp atmosphere. We enjoy a drink , music , swimming and the gym. Any ideas what you think would suit , preferably from Southampton.
Royal Caribbean or Princess would probably be a good fit. 😀
