Hello. Not really sure where to start, to be honest - I used to be an actor (I was in a car accident which put paid to that), and in 2000 I was lucky enough to be in a play about Northern Soul, which toured around the country. I knew some of the tunes beforehand, and in order to learn the dance moves, me and the rest of the cast went to a few all nighters (Rotherham, Bridlington, Scarborough) while the play was still in rehearsal, and the thing that struck me, apart from the awesome music and the incredible moves, was the passion. The sheer, unbridled joy - a shared love and ownership of the music and all that it meant. And that, dear stranger, is what I just saw. Your absolute joy was so beautifully and perfectly communicated - it was so infectious in fact it got the passer-by dancing too. I don't know who you are, and I know we'll never meet, but I want you to know that I love you to bits! A bit of new mix, Northern soul. Thanks for introducing me to this fab track in it's new form and thanks for making me smile and making me feel like a young girl again, gliding around on a big waxed floor getting lost in a feeling of joy and belonging. Keep it up duckegg. X
Wow fantastic, plus the old fella, even the scooters in the background make that a great combination.
not my kinda music but , no doubt about it, it's strong songwriting & superbly performed.
and the girl dancing was a nice touch. she wasn't acting, she was into the groove of the music. gotta respect that.
Fills my heart with pure joy. Go girl x
