Moon Knight gives me the impression that he would be a great addition to the foes of Kingpin--just like Spidey, Daredevil, and Punisher. It would be great but Khonshu is probably not interested in something as mundane as ordering Moon Knight to stop a common criminal like Kingpin. Throughout the whole Moon Knight series Khonshu remains somewhat enigmatic.
The biggest problem Taskmaster had fighting against Moon Knight was Moon Knight was willing to destroy himself to destroy Taskmaster. There is no copying that. MK was willing to take a punch, kick, throw, choke...whatever it took. Taskmaster wasn't willing to do that to himself.
It's a tragedy that Moon Knight never had a proper Rogues Gallery. Most of his villians only lasted one or two issues, but with the new storylines, Moon Knights' new villians are more flushed out and last longer. I hope alot of these forgotten villians make a comeback in future Moon Knight comics.
@@jamessmotherman3364 amen to that. Franks' villians are usually killed in that single issue. For Moon Knight, his villians are truly insane and twisted that they can't simply be killed. In many cases, they are resurrected. It would be cool, if Anubis, the Egyptian god of the Dead, resurrects several dead villians. Banding together to destroy Moon Knight once and for all. This will push Moon Knight to the limit.
@@sanjaychhetri5399 i get it. I was just brainstorming, but in order to return, the deceased villians need to be resurrected. Maybe Mephesto or another major villian steals Anubis' book of the dead, which allows someone to bring back the dead. With no avatar of his own, he asks Khonshu to send Moon Knight to stop him. Only to resurrect several dozen enemies to kill Moon Knight.
he had a rogues gallery, it's just that over time they were all either killed off, or writers just ignored them. black spectre, morpheus, midnight man, bushman, werewolf by night, stain glass scarlet, hatchet man...great characters.
Don't forget that Taskmaster hates fighting Deadpool and Moon Knight because he can't copy Deadpool's random style and Moon Knight prefers getting hit so that means that Taskmaster would have to let Moon Knight hit him
Awesome video guys Moon Knight is one of my favorite characters from marvel comics and to know more facts about his villains is pretty cool I cannot wait to see that Moon Knight TV series it's going to be phenomenal.
I love how the narrator talks about Mark Spectre, Steven Grant, and Jake Lockley as if they are different people. He said they all had a disassociative disorder.
Video when talking about Deadzone: 'but he appears often to face off against Moon Knight' The dude literally only appeared in one run, and one of the least popular and least important ones at that
I really hope they can unfuck Taskmaster after what the Black Widow movie did to the character, because we deserve the REAL Taskmaster in the MCU.. He's one of my favorite underrated/underused villains.
@@plasticweapon I know you're most likely right on that, but I didn't let it go when Iron Man III fucked the Mandarin, and lo and behold, they brought the character back in a closer rendition to the comic book.. not perfect but better than what was in Iron Man III. With the multiverse now open and affecting the MCU, anything is possible.. It could be a way to correct stupid changes like what they did with Taskmaster. I do agree with you that it's probably not gonna happen, but nowadays with the MCU, I figure it's best to never say never.
Depends on the Villain. I would love to see Moonknight vs Deathstroke. But villains like Bane and especially the Joker might be to much . Joker is just too insane to really be defeated. Not to mention the Court of Owls , which would erase the Moonknight pretty quick
Awesome video guys,Moon knight is still one of my favorite Marvel characters who has a remarkable Rogues gallery including Moon knight's own brother Shadowknight the late Randall spector.also thanks for sharing guys you too guys 👌 up the 👍 work guys and stay safe and stay healthy.☺☺☺☺😀😃😇
Damn this comic really still had that over the top brital and sadistic hero that isnt really a hero formula straight from the early 90s, despite this coming out in like 2004 or 2008? Couls be wrong.
Yeah but thing is that comparing Black Spectre and Knight - they could have been exchanged in places except Spectre as Knowles is much less psychotic and sadistic and Khonshu is not interested in playing nice, he wants Knight to rip out people's intestines when they're casual thugs not hardcore criminals/villains so... I feel awful for Spectre, because Mark snapped so much worse and so many times more, but Spectre is the villain? Wuut? It genuinely doesn't tick because the comic makes it so obvious Spectre is lost and hurt and anyone in his position would be on the verge of a breakdown - but he gets judged, while Mark somehow stands on the other side. Such bullshit. Reading Moon Knight it's seriously hard to like him, feel sorry for him, consider him a hero or even antihero. He isn't even a villain - he is just a pathethic piece of shit. I am halfway through the comic and honestly... I don't get at all why this guy gets his own comic unless it would be painfully obvious "this is what it looks like when someone sucks so hard they become a vacuum". He treats his friends awfully and he makes them experience disfigurement, he doesn't differentiate between different kinds of criminals, he treats his girlfriend awfully and expects to be loved, he is sadistic and psychotic and worst of all - his disability. So those broken legs and spending two years in a wheelchair - Marlene shows up and he says shocked "I can stand" and she lets it loose "You always could you were just too much of a piece of shit to attend physical therapy" - I am sorry - but this is offensive to actual veterans. A casual not special guy who came back from the war (like the guy who later pilots his ship!) would be a better candidate at being the centerpiece of attention. Guy is unlikable, pathethic, selfish... and I get it they're antiheros, but nothing reedems this guy, nothing, not a single characteristic makes all the rest forgivable. He isn't even interesting - not when contrasted with all the rest the same universe has to offer. He makes Punisher look like a straight shooter for fuck's sake.
Whenever people say some shit like "Comics were always political" tell them Moon Knight fought a woman who was killing Russians to stop cultural appropriation of Russian ballet. When they tell you how stupid that sounds, you just nod and walk off.
Love task master, we have the same ability he does excluding the supersoldier serum lol. It is how we learned to snowboard. Our instructor get angry with us and accused us of pretending to be new. Citing a reverse turn that we naturally do which pros have a hard time doing.

His gallery is kinda like that of The Punisher. Frank doesn't leave many of his villains to survive lol

Literally insane
Thanks for the intro to relatively unknown characters, which means NEW characters for ME.
I think Bora sans her wind power maybe make her a former Widow, and Stained Glass Scarlet make for the most interesting characters to adapt.
Could you check out SHADOWHAWK? Also his enemies, i think him and Dark Hawk get overlooked!
Dracula still owes him his god damn money

Yes... Stained Glass Scarlet PLEASE!!!!
The Hellbent, Deadzone, Chainsaw, Twilight, Hatchet Man and Stained Glass Scarlet deserve props.
