Nimra Ahmed and Umerah Ahmed have the greatest impacts on my life . First I started to believe in myself , become more confident , became comfortable with my self and sorroundings . Secondly , Nimrah broke the infamous stereotypes on hijabis and niqab like no one elso could do . I started wearing hijabs with more confidenece without feeling of inferiority.
And one thing I want to say and ask Nimrah is that your novel characters has made our standards so high that is almost impossible to reach them. so, do you believe that such well mannered , sharp , well built , self made, intelligent and handsome guys at the same time exist in our society?

We can understand the stress that you feel while delivering this but you did a great job mashaAllah. And that Taliya wala scene about which Nemrah says that it transformed her- I can relate with it because I too was working on a character and by the end of the book, it had changed me so much that I kept on reminding myself of what that character did.
You did a great job. I am glad that finally someone from this industry contacted a writer who doesn't allow her stories to be converted in dramas. Well, I really admire Nemrah Ahmed's writing style. Keep doing good work!

Being a boy of 16.. Haalim the masterpiece was the first novel I read in khawateen digest, then namal and now malaa. I love every single word of her.
Dislikers are who wanted to "hear" Nemrah herself.

Thank you so much Rabia. This was such a wonderful interview. Although I thought it was a Naml-centric interview but this was also great. Nemrah's works are being criticized by some people for various reasons but for beginners like me, she has been quite a phenomenon. The way she has shed the shell of self-pity off her female characters, it was not a very usual occurrence in Urdu literature. I was so totally sick and tired of the bechari-ism in our novels and dramas and here were characters like Haya and Haneen, like Zumar and Mehmil that established the outset of refreshing notions - notions that stood out, being a synthesis of grace and spunk....being so beautifully grounded in their connection with their Creator yet at the same time are so witty, courageous and live their lives on their own terms.....how often do we witness characters like these whose lives go beyond the shadi-should-be-the-ultimate-purpose-of-girls nonsense? Thanks Nemrah Ahmed for giving us such memorable characters and such wonderful stories. May Allah accept your efforts and grant you the best of both worlds. Aameen.

I just want to let you know that you're one of the most innovative and inspiring novelist of PAKISTAN, the way you portray your stories, ahhh it's beyond something...that particular essence I can't explainn. My first ever novel was JKP, and yk insaan ka pehla experience kisi cheez k mutaliq acha na rha ho tu wo ek assumption qayam krleta hai phr us k baray mai, I'm so so glad that my first experience regarding this was so memorable k literally I was introduced to the world of 'Urdu Adaab' because I then started reading Urdu novels as it became my hobby & now I have a big collection of novels. JKP was my frst novel by Nimra Ahmed and i was completely blown away and was so engrossed with the characters, I like how Nimrah Ahmed creates a suspense level. I have learnt a lot from JKP. Will always be thankful to u Nimrah Ahmed for writing these remarkable novels

I have read nemrah 's first novel "Meray khwaab meray jugnoo" and from meray khwab meray jugnoo to "Namal", i can clearly see her progress, hardwork, storyline each and everything. She was the one who introduced me to the " World of urdu novel" and now i have read most of her novels. She is a true gem writer. More power to nemrah.

It's interesting to know more about the writer who has somewhat changed our life perspectives by making people realize that they, themself are very important ,their inner ones are more important than the people around them .i read 'jannat k pattay' as my first ever novel and it was just amazing .Words can't describe the beauty of her writing .I have learnt alot of lessons from her novels and after reading her novel ,i feel like she has written all this about me ,my weaknesses and my thoughts .The main thing i always notice in her novels is that there is no main hero ,heroine in her novels .In Ms.Nemrah 's novels, every character has it's own story , it's own weaknesses ,strengths and none of them is perfect at all .In her novels, one can learn alot of lesson from each and every character of the story .Nowadays ,i am reading Main Anmol which is one of her best ever book i have ever read .
