Wow! Only three years on youtube and Borodante already knows how to use keywords :D (Don't worry/get mad, we love you the way you are). (PS. Boroschool was cool too, btw.) Thanks for tutorial, it's great, you must've put in it a lot of work and time. I'm learning 3d graphics right now on my uni and things like shadows and reflections was literally in the last lecture (and I can tell that the whole "it's like looking from the source of light" thing is very similar to at least two shadow algorithms), but it's great to see it from an artistic point of view (practical in different way than programmer of 3d graphics would have). Btw. I make a project for that subject and I'm gonna try apply different things you learn us about (like aerial perspective (not as a "fog"), different kind of calculating output color without calculating exact sum of waves, but based on HSV model and so on) and I look forward to see if I could improve the resulting picture by adding a touch of artistic knowledge ;)
Ok, I'm digging that you went for the computer vision approach. Most artist don't talk about the light source as a camera, but it works and it's accurate.
Im extremely grateful for this channel. Of all the content creators Ive seen, none have really taught me things that I struggle with quite like you do. Its almost like Im having a 1 on 1 class with you haha
your videos are the most informative(in educational way) on youtube from all that I saw! You are very good teacher and you know tons of valuable tips! Thanks for sharing your knowleges with us Boro!
Thank you for this lesson and so many others; easily the most fun 'art/app' Tutor I've come across. This is a great reminder on reflection perspective that I had forgotten to pay attention to. And, weird as it sounds, the fact you've done the video in the state you're in and staying productive has given me a bit of a lift - I'm in the [cough ahem, ahem] same boat, downing plenty of repetitive-tasting fluids, using the state productively. Honestly, I've replayed your outtake several times, laughing out loud - between [my] coughs - probably frightening people passing under the streetlights on the sidewalks below...
Great tutorial, I love how you break this down. -you touched upon this before, when you did the overpain of my pirate. Anyhoo, get some rest and feel better.
thanks for the tutorial! I'm actually trying to improve my art and you're here-that's great! I kinda took a "break" from your channel to a long time, and getting back now is soooo weird! everything has changed
Another cool video. So, also, if you were working in Zbrush and you needed a reflection, you could just duplicate and invert your model, I think. Yup, I think that makes sense.
Great tutorial!! Reminded me of Stranger Things talking about the "upside down" hehe For the reflection I tend to think about it as if I was looking at the repeated and inverted shape of the subject through a glass floor. I hope everyone got your explanation straight ahead, though :)
I think you did something wrong... when you are looking for the vanisihing point of the shadow you have to draw a vertical from the light source until you reach the horizon, because everything that is on the ground should have its vanishing points on the horizon, I think... I'd love to talk about this with you! hahaha. I love your videos by the way!!
Awesome tutorial! I think it's a bit easier to imagine the floor as being a huge sheet of glass with the copy of the real world glued upside down to the bottom surface. No need to visualize the second camera or switch points of view then. :)
$ 10,000 for anyone who can help.....!!!! Someone's was hunting the gold pieces buried in the desert He was observing a particle reflection in the place where those gold objects were observing particle reflection on bar code application. He also watched the pictures on the laptop He used a laptop and another host of a ASUS type. And he use program from (nvidia)company.. How he was tracking mineral targets around the place? Is there any idea or way to explore it?
your tutorials go so deep, you can almost feel earth's inner core

This tutorial is just awesome... should more like this 😍😍
I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't start understanding the tutorial until around five minutes in.
man, your knowledge in light is GODLIKE! I bet you were really good at physics in school ;)

Great tutorial, thank you!
ForeverLive this was only uploaded 8 minutes ago?? How’d you finish it???

ForeverLive 😂😂😂
OMG! Did you just assume the shape of my shadow!?
dammit i was gonna say that
Daniel, you are just the best

did you already do a tutorial on reflection on diffrent surfaces? e.g light reflections bending on a glass bottle?
Can someone plz make a song with this caughing sequence?
Baldydante is the best!
Thx xd
