The "Geedis" pin along with the other characters were all custom made for a group of Dungeons and Dragons players. Each player had his corresponding pin with their sticker/character.
apparently some side project/add-on for the D&D board game that didn't gain any popularity.
why were there multiple copies of the same Geedis pin tho?
Maybe due to bulk ordering purposes? Or perhaps they ordered them like they had the stickers - and since the addon never caught on they gave up? @@The_Blazement

They could just say "we dont know, becuz we didnt know her, we just saw the photo". I think like even though we have color photo now, its not impossible to take a black and white photo even now, isnt it. So they might just wear old generation cloths and shoot this photo in black and white. Thats my theory.

@@BeAmazed Reminds me of a video I watched earlier by Nostalgia Nerd, regarding a computer that would interact with the distant past and the year, 2109. Of course, the the whole thing was non-sense, but still an interesting video, considering the supposed people involved disappeared afterwards.
Edit: Of course, there's that "time traveling 2027" TikToker that allegedly posts videos of him walking around Spain being the only one alive. I assume it's a production stunt, but it's interesting that he could gain entry to so many areas, including a police station.
Couldn't the photo even be from a movie that never got finished? People are so quick to jump to bizarre conclusions.
Great point! I’ve also found the idea silly as one might think if they were time traveling cell phone users they would have come from an era also possessing ubiquitous cameras and know not to have their pictures taken nor walk down crowded streets while using them. Everyone would have seen them using their “phones” and there would be no mystery in the first place. To me it is a self-defeating theory to whomever is dumb enough to believe it.
Please do a part 2 of this. It was really satisfying to finally have some closure on those old internet mysteries

The weird thing about the first guy is that, when he was writing the post-it notes, he seemed conscious of the fact that his memories of the present wouldn't last much longer, hence the need for post-its. But when he was in a state of mind that could make new memories, he could neither remember nor imagine himself writing those notes.

The similarity between the plague doctor and Mad Magazine’s Spy vs Spy had not occurred to me before.
I had never seen such a long proboscis on a plague mask before.
The carbon monoxide one was amazing. Thank god for the guy who knew the signs! I, myself, have had carbon monoxide poisoning. Turns out my landlord at the time(local council) had not serviced my gas fire. I never knew that every time I put it on I was being poisoned!

I can't fathom how those supposed time travelers were tagged by their "cell phones". Yes, there were no cell phones in those days. But there were no cell towers either. If the supposed time travelers were attempting to use their cell phones, I certain they would be disappointed.
Unless since they are supposed to be from the future i.e. time travel perhaps the “phones” actually do work just reworked the interior of the device? That or it’s actually something else that so happens to look like a cell phone?
The strange dream man… I’ve never seen him in my dreams, which is honestly kinda weird, especially since my dreams are really weird and random. I have seen another strange man that I’ve never seen in real life before, and I know that it isn’t the strange dream man that people have been seeing in their dreams…

At first I felt left out (or out of the loop), but after awhile, I decided I was just as glad I hadn't heard about them at the time. Some people like unraveling mysteries. I never would have thought I would say this but I think I'm at an age where I would think that zombie women could actually be someone who might have met with an accident and walking around asking for help rather than an actual zombie (my childish self is saying this is a serious red flag if a zombie break out actually happens) now the zombie movies actually make sense when an adult walks up to an undead thinking the injured and get's bitten and turns into a zombie😅
I think we're looking at this the wrong way: if someone dressed as a zombie in order to do a protest was noticed, and became an online phenom without even posting their own work, then how dumb are the people who got freaked out enough to give this person notoriety? Maybe they were vaccinated, and therefore dumb? LOL!!!

Of course it was fair. 'AI' is a tool born from human ingenuity, just like anything else. I research machine learning at my uni... and the one thing I can tell you is that it is only going to become more prevalent. To be clear, 'AI' is not going to be taking people's jobs per se, however people using 'AI' as a tool very well could. This is why I really suggest to _everyone_ that they should familiarize themselves with these tools, because they certainly aren't going away.

I've survived carbon monoxide poisoning three times. 😮 Twice from gas furnaces and once from my car. I must say, the most insidious part of it, is the mental confusion it creates. You can't figure out what's happening when it's happening. You're so confused you literally don't know you're confused. You just pass out. With the furnace problems, by the grace of God, I actually woke up. I didn't understand what happened to me until I'd been at work a couple of hours breathing fresh air. With the car, I didn't pass out. I kept running red lights and stop signs, not realizing it until just after the fact. I chalked it up to being tired. Until the next day. I fired up my car to go to work. Five seconds after it turned over, the exhaust system started making an ungodly loud racket. I knew right then, I'd been poisoned by carbon monoxide the evening before. God was with me all three times. Guess it just wasn't my time.
I am having one of those weird moments, where I could swear I have seen that "zombie" woman before but long ago well before COVID but I guess it was more recent than my memory serves.
There are a ton of creepy videos or images on the internet it's crazy! Another video like this would be nice featuring more weird images or videos.
Ikr. It's really hard to find anything I haven't already seen/heard a 1000 times already, unless I go down the really crazy rabbit holes like flat earthers or something just for shits and giggles, otherwise it's so hard to find anything new/worth watching. Topten at least mixes them up, with the CM leak that I always hear, to the find satoshi one that Ive never heard of before.
I watch these at night so some of these give me nightmares but I don’t learn so I watch them anyways

'Ashens And The Polybius Heist' is a fun movie, created by you tuber, Stuart Ashen. He's an expert on video games, and the myth of the Polybius fascinated him enough to make a proper movie about it. Definitely worth a squint.
The time traveler women in the Charlie Chaplin film had a very advanced hearing .... Or maybe a voice recorder... It couldn't have been a phone because there is no satellites or cell phone towers to transmit a signal back then so even if she had a phone who was she talking to and how was it working

Maybe the land of ta stickers were picked up by some sort of pin company when Dennison started making the stickers. Maybe Dennison had more planned, I’m thinking an arcade game, movies, or anything. Possibly they were mass producing the geedis pins for what they were expecting to be a large demand but turned out to not be.

Or on second thought just maybe send it back through the postal service causing the same distress to the government as they did to you. Well could you be blamed? It's not yours afterall. When all this Polybius business was being investigated, I had a friend who owned a 24 hour petrol station truck stop/eatery where I live. He also had a selection of arcade and pinball games too. One day I went up there to get some coffee with my grandson and he had a sign out "POLYBIUS - THE GAME...Coming Soon". I laughed and he said 'Yeah, it gets the customers in.'
A black car pulled up outside and 2 men (yeah, the classic MIBs) got out and came inside and started questioning him about this polybius game. I stood in front of the 2 guys with my arms crossed and told them to get lost. One approached me and my grandson threw hot coffee on the 'MIB', saying 'sorry, not sorry and you heard her, get lost!'
They never came back. No one threatens my friends.

In the last video, I was almost completely certain that it was someone tweaking out on fentanyl. As it's become more common in the northwest, I've noticed a lot more videos surfacing that look like this. I suspected it's because Oregon has legalized most street drugs

Re: Polybius - I'm failing to understand how Reddit and/or "The Internet" solved that mystery. It was literally one journalist who just *happens* to make extremely high-quality video essays.
I grew up in Massachusetts my entire life and had NO IDEA that Dennison was based in Framingham!!! That's like... 2 towns away from my hometown!! How did I not know this!
