I love how you really gave the torch a good thrashing....for someone who drops things alot like myself it is great to see it will still work...very thorough review...thank you
I always cringe when you do those drop tests. I know that it's a necessary part of your review, but my mind is saying 'oh, that's gonna really gonna scratch that finish '. 😆Great light, and great review!
I got the white version for my favorite pharmacist, who is fairly tall, but only 130 lbs. I took her for LTC classes, but she doesn't have her license to carry yet, so this was a great option for a tiny woman that sometimes works overnight in the worst parts of Boston. Excellent review, by the way. Very comprehensive. I sent the link to her.
Olight is like Apple. You buy one of their products and they come out with a new and improved version. Great lights. I have a ton. My EDC is the Baton 3. Incredible for it's size.
Any one wanting to buy one of these should!! A friend I work with turned me onto Olight, after seeing the warrior 3 on their website I wanted to see reviews, this was the first and only review I watched and my mind was made up I decided to buy one along with the weapon mount, I'm completely happy with it, the only issue I have now is do I buy another so I can just leave one attached to my rifle and have one for regular use. Thanks for the great review
Have you ever had it accidentally come on in its holster? Because i did, second day i carried. Destroyed the holster and melted debris to the lense. Oh...they will replace it, if you have time to wait like 3 weeks and navigate 20 hoops to jump through. I love Olight and i have many but they should do something about this danger.
This is why I have never bought into the olight hype. It is cheap Chinese garbage. This is not the first model they have had melting problems with. I go surefire. Anyone who criticizes that is too poor to afford one.
Nice review! Just picked one of these up and can't wait to start using it. Would have loved to see what the finish looked like after your torture test.
Great video as always. I bought one during the most recent flash sale but for some reason the tail knob doesn’t work on mine and the light will only cycle through the first 3 settings on the side switch. The first 3 clicks cycle fine but then the double click to max setting simply reverts back down to setting #2. Additionally it only charges to the 3rd led light. I made sure to charge it fully before ever even turning it on. Worst of all the return policy requires me to also return the unrelated bundle items which is impossible as I gave both of those to other people.
I edc a sr2 batton daily and love it. Recommend it highly. This looks like a good household light or maybe my get home bag light. I will buy some of the warrior series lights eventually
"Olight is the only light brand that ever stopped working for me" -true quote, just made by me. Nothing always holds out, this is why 2 is 1 and 1 is none. Olight would have to improve a great deal and stay reliable for longer for me to get one. Nothing personal, but channels on RUclips represent olight and yet change from light to light constantly, never using one to failure. I really think they make great stuff starting in 2018 or so, but I'd like to see it go a little longer.
Olight is very durable flashlight. I’ve bought many flashlights 🔦. It’s been a few years since bought Olight seeker 1 and 2. Gave them to loved ones . Just ordered this Warrior 3 model ,just needed something smaller. I’ve damaged many flashlights 🔦 just dropping a few times waste high. Olight outlasts them all. Finally a product that is ME proof…lol
One detail that I like is the tail cap has no rubber. Every light I’ve owned with rubber has ripped or worn out after a few months and you gotta replace it constantly.
Is this light going to replace my mr2 warrior pro....... yeah probably, need a second charger and ill keep my pro in my toolbox for those days I forget it at home. These are great lights in the mechanic field as well
I own one of these and i work in a foundry and this sucks at being around sand and metal but the flashlight itself i like I wish they could make some kinda of rubber endcap to prevent it from that.
@@googlephone1260 I’ve recently bought the Fenix TK16 and it will only run for 1h30 on high mode, not the 2h50 claimed by Fenix…. Thinking of returning it

I have the M2R Warrior Pro and I absolutely love the hotspot and the tint of the beam profile! Does the Warrior 3 have the same color temp (kelvin) as the M2R? To me it looks like it has a slightly colder temperature? 🤔 (Yes, I'm picky about details...😅)

Might be jumping the gun if this is mentioned later in the video. I just got mine. Not fully charged but my turbo doesn’t work. Does it only work if it’s higher then 75% charged?
Love the flash light but they need to remember tactical means button on the back for ease of use. Not a good button location. I wish they would make them with button on back.
The best light out there? I think that comment is a bit over the top. There are plenty of flashlightaholics that will challenge that statement. March on.
I stopped buying them. Been using what I have but I’ve switched to streamlight. They’re at least consistent with their quality control. Too many of my olights are too inconsistent in quality and the lumens. They’re good in my opinion for camping or having around the house as a backup light. But be honest, you get paid to say they’re great. They’ve already been exposed in the past telling people to say great stuff about them. They’re great lights for showing off, but just too damn inconsistent like I’ve said multiple times
I'd get more use from it if I found a bar mount to use it on my bicycle especially now the clocks have changed . and I always run a strobe in the daylight on front of my bike
@@rolandxor179 well during the daytime a strobe isn't gonna blind anyone, but riding a bike at night without lights will definitely get you a ticket like I did at 16 from state police in my neighborhood smh
I love the new Warrior 3 side switch, but the rest not so much. Since one could always access the high medium directly, does anyone prefer losing the low medium 60 lumen level? If so why? The new 200 lumen level is great, but I still miss the 60 lumen level for utility purposes. In the review as was glad you noted the switch to cool white versus the former neutral white. You seemed to like the CW and I was curious as to why? Possibly there might have been little choice if they wanted to boost the lumen levels and runtimes, but I prefer the better color object rendering of the neutral white. It may be in part my aging eyes. My wife is fine with the CW. I do like the slight broader hot spot that the Warrior 3 provides. Thanks for the review.
The ONLY gripe I have about this light: I used this light for work. The tail button would collect a lot of metal in there. Because of that, the light would change setting and on many occasions it would go turbo mode in my pocket. Not fun when ur riding a motorcycle home from work. It can burn a whole through your pants. That being said, I still love it for everything else.

How would any LED perform after an EMP? Would they survive? would an older incandescent torch survive?
Chance of an EMP is like 1 in a billion chance; you have a better chance at taking back your country then getting EMP'd
